Things Non-Writers Have Said to Me
Here are some things non-writers have said to me over the years, which makes my encounter with people so much more awkward when they say:
"Oh, you're a writer? So, what have you published?"
And I'm like "Uhhh...I'm a writer, not yet an author."
What are some of the things non-writers have said to you?

Some Toxic Writer Thoughts
Sometimes being a writer can be the worst. Regardless, I still love it and wouldn't trade it for any other job in the world, but like many jobs being a writer doesn't come without stress and a fair amount of headaches.
As we enter into the Camp Nano writing month, I can't help but overthink my own writing and it can cause my brain to shutdown putting a hinder on my writing progress.
As writers, we are faced with the criticisms and harsh voices of the outside world but sometimes we are our own worst enemies and even worse critics.
And when it comes to mental health, it can make the inner critic seem all the more insufferable. 😰
However, take comfort in the fact that you're not alone. We all go through this moment of temporary setback. But how we push through it is what's important.
So writers, what are some toxic thoughts that you've faced? Here are some of mine.
Stay tuned! Next week, I'll post some of the things non-writers have said to me.
Eureka!!!
Just wanted to share with you my eureka moment. The colored notes are scenes for my outline and each scene color delivers a different emotion.
Also, I've been using Milanote to outline my novel and so far, I am having fun with it.
P.S. I intentionally blurred my outline for the sake of spoilers.
