Just because I hate Dear Evan Hansen doesn't mean I dont understand it. I do, I promise. I just get way too pissed off and have to go for a walk to calm down whenever I watch it.

okay so its been a hot minute
Sorry about that guys. I had literally no time to be on here because of rehearsal. We were there until, like, 8 almost every day during tech week (other theater kids will know this).
BUT WE DID OUR SHOW. AND IT WAS GOOD.
Oh, and I can tell you what it is now. The play we did is called Trap by Stephen Gregg. There's not an official recording of it, but you could probably find one on YouTube. If I get a recording of mine, I'll share it with you.
It's a really cool play and I'm really happy that it was my first highschool performance.
And the musical is going to be Once Upon A Mattress. All I know is that it's just the Princess and the Pea in musical version. I'm planning on watching it before I decide if I wanna audition or not.
Uhhhhh
ya that's all I have for yall :DDD
my director is letting me pick some of the music for the show so I am busting out some of my favorite early century European street music jams :)
Me as a Propsmaster: *enthusiastically making endless, constantly revised lists and hiding away for hours upon end painting wooden staffs, goblin mode at 50% capacity at all times* "ALRIGHTY WHAT'S NEXT? HIT ME. HIT ME!"
Me as a Stage Manager: *thinks going to bed at 11 is early, loopy from exhaustion at all times, running on caffeine and stress, +3 dex from writing endless emails, is terrified of authority (somehow is the authority????), is totally confused at all times, just Trying My Best* "Alrighty guys, welcome to rehearsal today we're doing scenes one and two, remember we're off book next week so please learn your lines...please..."
I’m so close to insanity with my competition that I made a playlist to play on my way to the convention I’m competing at. Competition playlist before I go crazy :)
Sound designs for Hadestown my favorite musical right now.

I need some survey answers for a class I'm taking—would y'all help me out? The question: how seriously do you take the taboo on the Scottish play (and have you ever done theater)?
Have done theater, take it very seriously, like never ever say it seriously.
Haven't done theater but take it seriously like never ever say it seriously
have done theater and only take it seriously while in a theater
haven't done theater and only take it seriously while in a theater
have done theater, don't take it seriously
haven't done theater, don't take it seriously
what's the Scottish play?
other (put in notes)
So bout 5 years ago I was in a production of Arsenic and Old LAce .For those who dont know its a dark comedy about a theater critic who finds his aunts have been cheerfully killing people, while also dealing with the return of his scarred Boris Karloff resembling criminal brother. My character was the second brother ,who thinks hes Teddy Roosevelt.Loads of fun to play.My fave memory is we were trying to work out a scene in full costume and makeup, director was directing us, the evil bother popped out behind the window, while I popped out in full Safari outfit from a doore to tals with the director when he burst out laughing "YOU TWO LOOK LIKE AN EPISODE OF LAUGH IN"
Artest renderung to show the absurdity

daily reminder not to say macbeth in a theater and to say break a leg instead of good luck because no one died tonight but it was close
