Mmh. I don’t think Lucas himself ever really thinks in terms of cis/trans, but moreso he thinks of it as “I used to be a girl when I was a kid, but as I came of age I decided to make myself into a man instead.” He typically avoids gendering himself when he talks about his childhood, but in a situation where he needed to, he’d refer to himself as female at the time; he doesn’t retroactively refer to himself as a male child. His concept of identity is layered so that like, the girl as a child is at the core, layered over by an adolescent boy, which is further layered over by an adult man.

He’s always been bisexual, though, and he knows that about himself.

Baeyl likes to garden, and she has an interest in ceramics. She was brought up with traditional ceramic techniques that trace their origins back to Gelmorra, and horticulture is an interest that was instilled into her by a friend during troubling times. Bringing up either of these subjects is a good way to get her to talk. Hikari can talk for bells and bells on end about wildlife. Any wildlife. All wildlife. You can hear the confidence in her speech and her clarity of thought improve whenever she is talking to someone about some wild beast or another. She also loves to hear about fantastic stories and myths from different places.

Svanhilda is an avid lover of chocobos and is well versed in chocobo husbandry. Ask her about her bird, Gale, and she’ll talk about him with the same fondness as someone would talk about their own son. 

Qorchi has become very interested in her work as an antiquarian, and she has gotten very fascinated with the lengths counterfeiters will go to in order to replicate a relic for sales on the black market. She also holds an interest in fortunetelling and gambling, and finds the mechanics behind them to be interesting...

Def... might. She kind of wants to, and of her current partners, one has expressed that they aren’t too interested in marriage but don’t mind if she does and the other is too dense to realize that she’s brought it up already?

But... she IS a Bride Daughter, officially... and her getting married isn’t entirely her choice. The clan comes first...

Koena started her own privateering business - specializing in transport, mostly of goods but sometimes of people if they’re looking for a less expensive option or aren’t too worried about creature comforts like their own cabin space for short trips. The business started small, but now there’s more than a few ships in the ‘fleet’, with trustworthy captains taking the bulk of the day to day assignments. It has allowed her and Rory time to travel for pleasure and exploration.

Honey rarely has a need for gil - whatever she can’t get herself via hunting or gathering, she can usually trade for in the nearby villages. On the rare occasion that she does need gil for something, she usually trades for that too - selling surplus goods that her clan makes but doesn’t necessarily need right at that moment. Items like cured furs, weapons made from wood and stone; all rather high quality and built to last.

When she’s not out taking combat work here and there as an excuse to go kick some badguy butt, Birch leans on the skills she picked up when she was younger and a member of the Weaver guild. She has created and continued her own brand of attire labeled Basic Birch; in spite of the name, the clothing she creates is anything but basic. Her designs are usually pleasing to the eye and could easily double as formal wear/formal armor but are crafted with combat in mind; most of the pieces have hidden features that allow for concealed weaponry, storage of potion phials, subtle pouches for smoke bombs and the like.

Knowing how to be gentle without being too gentle.

Most of Tiergan’s history with intimacy took place in a savage, hyper-aggressive environment that prized dominance. Rougher sex is what he grew up with, became accustomed to, and learned to enjoy.  However, Tiergan is keenly aware that some lovers absolutely require a softer, sweeter touch.

Unfortunately, being gentle isn’t something that comes naturally to him after over a decade of where he’s been.  Due to lack of experience in that regard, he tends to overthink things, constantly second-guess himself, and either winds up being a little too overly conscious of everything (which is sweet, but can be kind of a mood killer) or requires a lot of guidance from the other person on exactly what they want. (which can either be sexy or a mood-killer depending on the person.)

Other times he’ll start off extremely gentle, only to be consumed by the throes of the moment, lose himself in it, and then immediately panic when he snaps back to himself. (Though he’d halt instantaneously if was obvious the other person was not happy or wanted him to stop.)
