In-Depth Explanation on Lines/Appearing Cookies
Black Sapphire Cookie- Twins w/ Black Raisin Cookie. Known as Moondrop Cookie to the village (didn't adopt the name BS until time jump). *Killed* by Pomegranate Cookie, PV's spell against DEC knocks him back in time, awakening in the Silver Kingdom. Moves to the Spire a few months before Fount's fall.
Crowberry Cookie- OG ancestor of Crow Family which separated into the Blueberry House (Hollyberry Kingdom) and the Grape Clan when arriving in Crispia. Also makes her the Great Great Great Great repeating Great Grandmother of Black Raisin, Sapphire, and Raisin Cake (Dougheal)
Raisin Cake Cookie (Dougheal)- Original healer/shaman of Raisin Village and was also friends with Sapphire/Raisin's mom, so he semi-raised Moondrop & Black Raisin after their parents passed away (separate situations). At some point turned to the religion of the St. Pastry Order and was replaced by Healer Cookie.
The 3 Keys- Originally crafted by First Cream, she passed them onto First Milk to help find suitable "places". Key of Knowledge given directly to Fount by First Milk after being baked, Key of Dreams was given to the Wizards who gifted it to Moonlight upon being baked, and the Key of Judgement was lost after the Witch's fall, appearing to PV after Awakening.
(N) Pure Vanilla vs. DEC- Here to set a time-frame of Sapphire's jump back in time took place
Timekeeper Cookie- While not directly involved with the jump back in time, she does take notice. + Here to represent a jump in time
Fount -> Moonlight & Stardust- Step Siblings/Cousins
Apple + Crowberry- Half-Bake siblings
Pomegranate Cookie- Directly attacked Raisin Village during the end of the First Dark Flour War because of a prophecy she learned back with her Pomegranate Village 'sisters'. This wasn't the only time her and Sapphire/Black Raisin have met.
Raisin Cake -> Healer Cookie- One-sided romantic intentions from Raisin Cake
Black Raisin -> Healer Cookie- One-sided romantic intentions from Black Raisin, but she didn't have time to actually realize them before he became Pure Vanilla again, and their relationship became purely platonic.
Black Sapphire + Candy Apple- Found Siblings
Annnndddd I think those are all the ones I feel I needed to explain more in-depth. Of course if you have any questions or comments you can either comment here or send them to my Ask box :3. I tried not going too in depth in some places for spoilers, but as always I'm not 100% sure I'll ever get them drawn out (or at least any time soon), so unless you have insane memory I wouldn't worry.
Thanks for reading my insanity lol
Cookie run: Yeah so you know the Witches? Well there’s this other group called the Wizards, and they also bake cookies, but instead it was to aid in their research instead of eating them. basically a whole ass other pantheon.
Me: Wowie! Are you gonna elaborate on that?
Cookie run:
i guess this is just what i do now hope you guys enjoy
The Witches & The Wizards
(//Note. While this is a lore blog, a lot of headcanons are added to fill in some of the plot holes. This is what I did with the witches here)
The origin of the first witches dates back thousands of years ago, in a realm not connected to Earthbread. While I am not allowed to reveal too much information about them to you cookies, the witches are humans who are able to wield magic. I know a lot of cookies don't know what humans are, but think of them as witches, but they're more boring and can't use magic.
The first sentient desserts were made as a test by the witches. The ancient witches were messing with desserts and a substance they made known as lifepowder; the powder in cookie's dough that gives them life and sentience. With this lifepowder baked into the first batch of cookie's dough, these cookies were brought to life.
The witches were confused on how to proceed with this new information. This is where we get the split between the Witches that eat cookies, the Witches that protect the cookies, and the Wizards. The Witches that eat the cookies are the ones that GingerBrave and the cookies who escaped the oven know about. The witches that protect the cookies are the ones most cookies know about (not many cookies outside of a select few know that some witches eat the cookies), and the Wizards, while having the same goal as the witches who wish to protect the cookies, separated themselves from them, as they wanted to be mathematical and calculative with their baking, and not so chaotic and carefree as the witches were.
It's still a bit of a mystery, even to me, how Earthbread came about. While the Wizards try to keep everything down in the archives, witches didn't keep as much precise history texts as they did. It's why I was tasked with keeping you the Witch's Archives; we need to protect all the information we have about them. But, right now, a big theory is that the witches somehow made another realm, which is how Earthbread came to be. It's why there are different stars for you cookies, and why we witches have trouble accessing it (we do have a house there, and there's the whole City of Wizards, but those are just our settlements for when we ever go there). As of now, the witches and wizards are unable to replicate the spell.
But, that's just a theory (A COOKIE THEORY). But, that doesn't stop the fact that Earthbread was made as a safehaven, made by the witches who protect cookies as a way to keep them away from the witches who eat cookies. After all, it's harder to reach something once it's in another realm. But, the witches who eat the cookies found a way. One witch stays in the Witch's House in Earthbread, baking cookies and eating them. Same with the Witch's Castle, but that's not connected to Earthbread (//I think. Correct me if I'm wrong)
This is coming from a witch who once baked cookies. (I've never eaten cookies that were alive; only the dead ones. There was an accident one time where I accidently bit ones head off, but we are NOT talking about that) I don't know why the witches give lifepowder to something, only to eat it. Maybe it's the thrill of the chase? Idk. Seems a bit sadistic to me 🤷♂️

The Wizards - See You Tonight (1967)
Classic '60s Nuggets power pop. I first heard this song covered by Vetiver, but recently the original popped up on line. The Wizards were a Norwegian group who had more success in Sweden.
