Bernard's Mind Palace

They are literally trying to find their lost friend for several years that one of them change their entire school of magic to try and get more hints of what could have happened to him. They don't even remember his name anymore, and his name has for some reason been erased on everything but this doesn't stop them. Drawings are still kept of him and they use this to try and get information of him.

New missing posters are still being put up even when they're starting to get into trouble because of them. Alessia and Chester are traveling out to neighboring towns to try and see if their friend are there while Celine stays behind to see if he comes back home.

The trail has ran cold a long time ago but they don't stop because of guilt and knowing they would truly never forgive themselves if they find out he was still alive and out there. Chester thinks he's still alive and they need to find him; Alessia wants to atleast know if he's dead or not; and Celine refuses to think about the specifics and just wants to find him. Whoever him is, because they don't even have a name of this important man in their lives.

Notebooks filled with his scribbles, don't have his name. Scratched wood that indicated the friends were there has no fourth person.

Celine questions if he was ever real and she hates themselves for thinking that. Alessia won't admit it but she hates her for thinking that too, since she was the closest to him of the three. Chester understands but he refuses to think about it.

It all leads to magic, Alessia would argue. But it doesn't make sense. Who would want to erase some random man's name? And why so thoroughly?

What happened to this nameless man in their memories? And why was he taken from them? Was he taken from them?
