I'm so normal about this game, and I play it for the plot.....The plot being Dr Victor Gideon, my husband!~♡

^This is Xiao Jingyu, Prince Qi. He’s dead and haunting the heck out of the narrative along with almost the entire 70,000 men of the Chiyan Army. Everyone is really sad about as they should be.

^This is Mei Changsu, formerly Lin Shu (a secret survivor of that army’s massacre 12 years ago). Most people who are haunting a narrative have the courtesy to actually be dead. He’s working on it though, just give him 2 more years.

50% of Nirvana in fire is political plotting to fix a bunch of problems, the other 50% is watching the memory of Lin Shu haunt the heck out of this guy specifically:

This is bubalina Xiao Jingyan, Prince Jing. He really really misses his cousin & brother-in-arms Lin Shu. Who is definitely not me, where did you get that silly idea Prince Jing? Says Mei Changsu. Repeatedly. And it works.
