"Limited time- how much can we get with our limited time?" The blue energy turns red with its user's emotions; magical energy in this area allowing a trait only mages and crystals to activate to be activated by just emotions of someone.
"Orbz, you assume the worst. What if our time is greater than you think? There is so much more story that could happen still." He responds to Orbz looking at the veins, surprised that this area even works like that.
"No, users are as stupid as the other characters, all stupid to be under the rule the way they are. We just disappear with no damned user to support us." The veins stay red with the powerful anger in the emotion, magic itself almost seeming to reform with the will of the writing.
"You know, it is my job to have other characters not be able to comprehend when people like you share about 'users,' you better not discuss this with anyone other than the core gods. And no, Rayn does not count, his core is lessened." Gilc keeps back, looking at the energy monitor on the suit of Orbz.
"You do not know these users like I do, it is incredibly difficult for a character to convince them of something. It takes more users to hold each other like a damned puzzle." The color of the magic turns from red to purple as the anger simmers down, but becomes something a bit worse.
"Which user controls you, Orbz?" Gilc asks, with full intent to confuse.
"Both, equal failures. And equal success, their progress matters, quality and quantity." Void magic crawls out of the suit, adapting to the emotions and being the only magic to ever come from the mortal without the use of tech.
Have I really never brought someone who couldn't use magic here? It is crazy that this area brings magic to those who can't cast. "Orbz, what will you do, get another user to hold it together?"
Everything pauses for a moment, even the moving magic stopping in place, almost fading away with the shock to the question. But just as easy as it disappeared, the magic returns in several colors: light, blue, purple and dark. "I tried- they are gone- but it was not my fault, Gilc, it was within the users, it was because the users- I could not do anything to save it, I tried. The only option was to wait for something that would never happen. It never will, those users are gone-"
He responds, "You are biased, nothing is different because of them, you only had some glue for the user that would not stick forever."
"They could have, Gilc, they could have." Slowly the magic fades, becoming mostly blue. "I have spent every day, every single day I have thought about them."
"Are you complaining about your deadline you made up to say that having the user who left would extend it and fix your puzzle, or do you want me to suggest something to fix your deadline? You insist the deadline is impossible to fix with your complaining, but then complain about a user." Gilc yet again responds, this time annoyed at trying to find a goal in this interaction.
"Users, plural, there are multiple."
"Are you trying to use this as a sympathy card to get those users back, or get new ones? Neither works." Gilc cuts off from the confusion, applying the new knowledge to the conversation.
"No, we both know that does not work." No magic, back to normal dialogue.
"Do you want me to tell you to hunt down users or some shit to glue the ones we need together, or to somehow get those ones back? Shit, Orbz, the fuck do you want me to tell you?" Gilc's response seems to hold an empty form of anger, annoyance being the main suit to dress this attitude, but a general disappointment being what comes out.
"Hunt down the users to what, get blocked again?"
"You tell me Orbz, you tell me what you want to do. One user is never there as a user, and when they are they do not help. The other ruins things, only holding it just together. You tell me how to fix things." Gilc's response holds the volume of a final response, as if a friend was waving goodbye after an argument, one thought away from realizing what he is simulating.
"Try, I have to try to get everything done within the deadlines. If they end up stretching, I will be glad to exist longer. Not because I want to live, but because what else do these other characters of joy have." The magic for a moment, almost becomes purely light before legendary comes over and blinds it all.
