#the cycle

it is the feelings and words and sentiments of people far and wide put into a different context for another person's feelings and sentiments on some sort of media made by people for the people and it will be used again for the millionth time and it will continue as such. The cycle is neverending but it is a mercy given to us for it not to end, for where would we be without the resharing and acknowledgement that we are all human and thousands have felt each others experiences in our own minds?

now to make this about unstable..

I think this is one of the best (small?) ways arc 2 completes its complication of well, life and breaking the cycle, in ways that diverge from arc 1. In season 3 in particular, we're presented with two scenarios of ending the fighting — Sol Regem says he will spare Elarion if Ziard gives up his staff/dark magic, and the kids bringing home Zym successfully causes Zubeia to end conflict with the Pentarchy — one that doesn't work 'because' the staff is notably not lowered, and one that works: one good turn causes another.

Just because you do the right thing, or kindness, or a lack of hostility, or give another chance, does not mean the other person is going to do the same or take said chance. Instead, they might cling to their old path. Instead, they might escalate, and hurt you.
