not that she would be inclined to say it out loud, but logan hunters valentines day extravaganza was a thing of beauty. no expense spared and everyone that is deemed a whos-who of the upper east side in attendance. normally agnes wasn't one for valentines day but she knew better than to pass up on a hunter party.
completing her admin obligation for the night, agnes dropped her card into 'cupid's mailbox' and moved along towards the bar.

Isobel had been back and forth on whether or not she should make an appearance at Logan's party, but when she was standing outside The Palace hotel... she just couldn't do it. Pivoting on her heel, she found herself in a window booth at the bar across the street, where she could watch everyone coming and going from the event she helped plan.
She wasn't sure how many drinks in she was anymore, but maybe after this one she would find the nerve to just go in–or maybe it would be enough for the bartender to cut her off and call her a cab. Just one more drink and she would decide.
according to logan, this would be a night to remember, and she was sure it would be with all the planning that logan had done. that being said, she could feel the nerves in her stomach at the idea of being paired up with anyone. however, she was always told that fortune favoured the brave and with that jessica dropped her card into cupids mailbox and let out a breath.

"Do you think it's too late to remove a card from the mailbox?" She muttered. Damn Cupid. It had sounded like a fun innocent idea but the longer the night went on, the more real it was. She could end up with anyone. Was the mailbox even possible to break into? Realizing they could hear her, Beth shook her head. "I mean, who do you think the performances will be?" She should never have filled out a card.

Dawson loved any chance to make new friends in the city, and his art had been getting more attention. Being able to meet new people to help further his career, this was the room to be in tonight. Some of the faces he knew distinctly, but mostly it was a crowd he didn't know well.

Ruby was waving her blank card around at the injustice of it all. "A room bursting at the seams with the most beautiful people in New York, and I only get to maybe make-out with one?"
