Autobots (Team Prime)

Optimus Prime

Due to Optimus Prime's position as the team leader, and because of his kind personality, Athena has a good amount of respect for him.

Optimus did his best to get Athena comfortable with the group when she joined them on the day they found her and her ship.

The young Prime essentially became like an older brother to her, which is something she'd never admit out loud.

When Athena learned that Optimus has a fear of spiders, she makes sure to check around the base for any arachnids to put outside before Optimus sees them and cleans up any webbing she finds.

Athena will openly defend him from Sentinel Prime if he insults him.

Since they both like to read, Optimus and Athena share data pads filled with digital books from Cybertron and Earth: though Athena makes sure to hide ones that are more YA.

Athena has noticed the tension between both Optimus and Megatron, though she chooses not to say anything, even though she thinks that Optimus could probably do better.

Ratchet

When Ratchet first met Athena, he was a bit weary of her at first due to her Decepticon upbringing: it also didn't help that she was Starscream's daughter. Athena sensed this and would do her best to stay out of the doctor's way unless it was absolutely necessary, like an emergency.

Ratchet did feel a bit bad about this later on: when he saw that Athena was a good kid, especially how she interacts with Sari, Bulkhead, and Bumblebee: her also keeping them from annoying Ratchet when he was having a break also helped get her in his good graces.

When she showed interest in medicine, Ratchet would allow her to watch him work.

When Ratchet learned that Athena used to be Lockdown's apprentice, he was shocked by this and thought it was odd as Athena never showed any characteristics of this. It didn't make him see her in a negative light, as he understood why she wasn't comfortable with sharing it.

Ratchet has considered taking Athena under his wing as an apprentice and teach her how to be a medic.

He's basically like the grandfather Athena never had.

Bulkhead

Bulkhead is considered to be one of Athena's best friends.

Bulkhead and Bumblebee were the first ones to find her ship and alerted the others so they could help her.

He was a bit nervous to have a former Decepticon join the team, but after a few days of getting to know her, Bulkhead began to like her, especially since she was patient with him and Bumblebee’s antics.

Unlike some of the others, Athena isn't that bothered by Bulkhead's clumsy nature.

When she showed interest in his paintings, Bulkhead was excited to have someone who would understand the beauty of art.

During her free time, when she's not reading or studying medicine, Athena would help Bulkhead with his paintings.

Athena was the first one to notice Bulkhead's knowledge of Space Bridge technology, but she never mentioned it to the others since she thought they already knew.

Prowl

Prowl, much like everyone else, was a bit apprehensive of Athena, a former Decepticon and daughter of Starscream, joining the team at first: but after he got to know her, Prowl became something like an older brother to her the closer they got.

The cyber ninja would help Athena see the beauty of Earth's wildlife and vegetation, whether it's through nature shows or going outside.

When he learned of Athena's status of being an apprentice of Lockdown, Prowl was naturally shocked, though he knew why she kept it a secret.

He was the first one to notice Athena and Bumblebee's feelings for one another, so he helped the two of them (separately) to talk to each other.

Athena is also aware of Prowl and Jazz's feelings for each other, so like Prowl did for her and Bumblebee, Athena decided to step in and help the two confess to one another and even helped Prowl with setting up for their first date.

Bumblebee

Bumblebee is one of Athena's best friends, crush, and eventual romantic partner.

When they met, Bumblebee was the one to fall first. He hadn't met a pretty bot around his age before, so it was natural for him to like her immediately. Though when he tried to act cool around her, Athena didn't know that he was flirting (she's not good with social cues) and thought he was trying to make her laugh.

Despite her status as a former Decepticon, Bumblebee didn't care about that and was interested in hearing her stories about her travels around space.

When Athena's carrier Starscream was killed by Megatron, Bumblebee was the one to try and comfort her, but when she expressed that she wanted to be left alone, the scout respected her wishes. She would eventually seek comfort from him and the others at a later point in time.

Both he and Bulkhead showed Athena how to play video games when she discovered them.

He has gotten jealous of other bots who show interest in Athena (ex: the Jet-Twins and Wasp), though if anyone other than Athena asks about it, Bumblebee will greatly deny it.

Bumblebee secretly likes the height difference between him and Athena, though he'd never admit it.

The only person Bumblebee is fine with referring to him as 'small' is Athena.

Sari Sumdac

When Sari first met Athena, the young girl was ecstatic to have her first female friend. The fact that Athena was capable of flying also helped.

Since Athena liked to read, Sari helped her acquire human literature on her data pad. Athena is grateful for this since she has found many new series that have become her favorites.

Like Sari, Athena finds it hard to make friends since people find her weird.

Athena doesn't mind taking Sari out for a flight around Detroit, though they have to do it lowkey so they don't attract attention.

Sari, other than Prowl, was quick to catch onto the way Bumblebee and Athena liked each other. She thought that they'd be cute together, and tried to put them in romantic situations so they'd confess.

Sari was the first one to learn that Athena was Starscream's daughter and a former Con, and while she was surprised, the red haired girl promised to keep it a secret until Athena was ready to tell the others.

Sari also likes to play games with Athena's Cyber Dog Uzi.

When Sari discovered her Techno-Organic status and was mad at her father for hiding it, Athena understood where Sari was coming from: she has experience with having a parent keep an important secret from her. But like the other Bots, Athena knew that it was best for Sari to talk with Professor Sumdac so they could make up.

Athena essentially took on the big sister role when she met Sari, though Sari is the one who gets more aggressive with others if they're mean to Athena.

Decepticons

Megatron

When she was younger, Athena was petrified of Megatron due to his giant size and cold demeanor.

Megatron doesn’t really care for Athena, he simply sees her as another pawn to use for the war against the Autobots. When she was getting old enough to work as a medic, Megatron decided to have her work on the front lines, which nearly got her off-lined in the process. This was what led to Skyfire deciding to defect from the group and escape with Athena.

When Megatron learns that Athena is alive and with the Autobots, he plotted to have her annihilated alongside her father Starscream as he deemed them both traitors to the Decepticon cause.

At some point, Megatron learns that Lockdown was Athena's guardian during her formative years. Naturally, the warlord was a bit annoyed that the bounty hunter never once mentioned having Starscream and Skyfire's daughter in his care.

Athena has noticed the way Megatron teases and flirts with Optimus, and while she thinks it's a bit amusing, she says nothing about it.

Starscream

Starscream is one of Athena's sires. He was the one to carry her to term, though this fact was not known to Athena: she believed that it was her other sire, Skyfire, to do so, since he was more affectionate with her compared to Starscream.

Even if Starscream was a bit distant, he did love Athena in his own way. He even took some pride that she was made with his colors.

When Athena’s life was put in danger because of one of Megatron’s order to put her in the front lines, this not only lead to Skyfire faking his and Athena’s deaths, but also became one of the reasons why Starscream wanted to off-line Megatron and take his place.

As soon as Starscream learned that Athena was alive (and no longer went by her Decepticon name), the Seeker did whatever he could to convince her to join him and help him take over the Decepticons, even promising her to make her his heir when he becomes the leader.

When Starscream was annihilated by Megatron for his treachery, Athena felt many emotions: sadness, anger, and disbelief. Even though she was aware that Starscream wasn't the best (she herself had a bit of mixed emotions about him), Athena still cared about him as her sire and didn't want him to face a violent end.

When Starscream came back, he became determined to get Athena to join him and overthrow Megatron.

Lugnut

Lugnut drove Athena a little crazy during her days on the Nemesis with his spiels about the 'glory of Megatron' and whatnot. But over time, she got used to it.

He and his partner Strika would offer to look after Athena when her sires would go to run errands or go on date nights, but both Seekers would have their acquaintance Deadlock (Drift) look after Athena instead.

When Lugnut learned that Athena was alive and joined the Autobots, he believed that she had been captured and brainwashed by them. Why else would she forsake the 'greatness' that is their leader Megatron?

Blitzwing

Growing up, Athena used to have a crush on the triple-changer, but she outgrew it when she and Skyfire left the Decepticons.

When Athena was with the Decepticons, Blitzwing never really paid attention to her.

When Athena would reunite with the other cons, Blitzwing and Lugnut were both stunned that she was not only online, but joined the Autobots. While Lugnut believed that Athena was brainwashed, Blitzwing on the other hand kind of already knew that she willingly joined them.

Blackarachnia

Since Athena left before Blackarachnia joined the Decepticons, the young seeker never met the techno-organic until the two of them arrived separately on Earth.

Blackarachnia only knew of Athena through what the other cons said about her and Skyfire, except Starscream, since it's too painful for him to talk about and because he doesn't see the need to do so with Blackarachnia.

When the two eventually meet, Athena does not like her since not only did she kidnap Sari during Halloween, but she also poisoned Bumblebee and Bulkhead and tried to hurt Optimus.

Even after learning about Blackarachnia's origins, Athena doesn't forgive her, since she put the ones she cares about in danger.

Blackarachnia does think that Athena and Bumblebee are cute together, and even teases the young femme about this whenever they interact.

The Seekers (Starscream Clones)

Due to having her carrier Starscream's memories, the Seekers have a familial affection for the young femme and wish to protect her, even if she's more than capable of doing so herself.

For Thundercracker, he wishes to be Athena's only family member and sees himself as a role model.

For Ramjet, he does like Athena, but since he can only lie, he says things like "I hate you" and other things in an affectionate tone, which can be confusing from time to time.

For Skywarp, even though he's scared of practically everything, Skywarp wants to protect Athena and keep her by his side, so he does his best to be brave for her.

For Sunstorm, he is overly affectionate with Athena and hugs her a bit too much, causing Athena to get a bit overstimulated as a result.

For Slipstream, she acts a bit more like an aunt for Athena. Since she's more similar to Starscream's main personality, she's the most likely one that Athena has to keep an eye on: other than Ramjet.

Optimus and Jazz drive around the city of Detroit, searching for Sentinel Prime or the twins, until they enter Steelhaven. There, they see that the walls have been completely wrecked, along with a few tiny holes and dents. Luckily, nothing important has been destroyed.

“Woah it's like this place been attacked by a tornado” commented Jazz walking through the destroyed inters of the ship and looking for Sentinel or the twins

“Sentinel has definitely been here,” sighed Optimus walking aside from Jazz.

“I checked Jetfire and Jetstorm quarters, you check SP quarters it's just over there” suggested Jazz

Optimus nodded, and the two split up from each other. Optimus Knocked on the door of Sentinel's quarters only to find that it had already opened, which immediately filled Optimus with concern, and he quickly entered Sentinel's quarters.

“Sentinel!” yelled Optimus scanning around the quarters for the blue prime.

Sentinel was nowhere to be seen; however, something caught Optimus's optics in the blue prime's quarters.

Optimus looked up in surprise and noticed several framed pictures of Sentinel with the twins, Jazz, Blurr and what He assumed the lwere the other Aerialbots due to the badges on their chest plates. Interestingly, Sentinel's faceplate had been scratched out of those pictures, clearly done by a lance. What stood out was that the pictures of everyone else remained untouched, while everything else in the room was destroyed.

Suddenly, Jazz burst into the room, his faceplate displaying an even more worried expression.

“OP, Jetfire, and Jetstorm aren't in their room! yelped Jazz

Optimus was far too stunned by the display of photos and destruction to respond to Jazz. Jazz noticed this and placed a servo on his shoulder.

“I’m sorry that you have to find out like this op” apologized Jazz “and to think he was making so much progress “

“did Sentinel frame these..by himself ” questioned Optimus speechless

“Actually he spent almost every cent on a professional framer since he didn't want them to be starch and he even fired and screamed at one for nearly hitting Jetstorm with the frame “ lightly chuckled Jazz.

“Yep, that definitely sounds like Sentinel, “ sighed Optimus, “but..in a good way.. huh. .....does that sound weird?”

“Not at all Op, those twins, the aerial bots they changed each other lives you know for the better, and it straight up sad seeing him tear it all apart “ exhaled Jazz.

“Can you tell me more stories about Sentinel.. and the twins? “ asked Optimus

“Well every time the twins could have nightmares, he “secretly” would play them their favorite song, “ told Jazz “and when the twins eventually graduated..he tried to make everything perfect to the tea.. ha he even ordered a full-on diamond stage for the graduation”

“ A diamond- Isn't that a bit too overtop” questioned Optimus nearly shaking his head at the mention of a diamond stage

“I guess that SP for you he either overtop in one way or another” softly giggled Jazz “You know he actually personally set up every Aerialbot graduation and would brag on for hours about how his unit is the best one on Cybertron “

Optimus softly giggled with Jazz yet he was still a little frustrated about what happened with Wasp since Sentinel had no reason to take it that far yet at the same time Optimus could see by the photos and by Jazz's stories about the blue prime interactions with the Aerialbots, the twins, Jazz himself and Blurr that Sentinel have built something that he cared about that despite everything he did seems to develop some humanity over these two years and perhaps that humanity was still there.

“And now who knows where those three crazy cats are now” sighed Jazz putting his servos on his hips

‘we're going to find them, I promise “swore Optimus.

“Well then let's roll out “ smiled Jazz giving Optimus finger guns

Once again Optimus and Jazz rolled out onto the streets of Detroit in search of Sentinel and the twins again with the two spitting up again to cover more ground.

Sentinel soars across the sky aimlessly looking for Jetfire and Jetstorm yelling out their names. He even transformed into his bot mode to search for them on the ground and ran toward everything orange and light blue together, only getting frustrated every time it wasn't the twins.

He yelled In rage and kicking everything in the site during this, he begins seeing things again as he enters the alleyway where Alpha Trion appears right behind him

“Can't you believe those cogheads would run off like that as soon as we found them? Let's teach them what it means to be true Autobots if you know what I mean“, smirked Alpha Trion. “ throw them into a cell, that will teach a lesson right ‘

“DIDN’T I SAY TO GET AWAY FROM ME?” shouted Sentinel, readying his lance again.

Sentinel was about to stab the old mech through his spark again when he got flashes of what happened last time, causing him to tip over on the ground while screeching as he fell against the cold street.

“On please you can't get away from me, we are one and the same” laughed Alpha Trion stepping closer to the fallen prime

Sentinel watched in horror as Alpha Trion transformed into a complete clone of him, except instead of an orange outline, there were golden outlines along with golden wings with a much less big chin.

“And can't you see that those two have been getting in our way, I mean seriously letting Wasp go free? A wanted criminal?” chuckled Clone Sentinel “What scrap is wrong with you”

“There is Nothing wrong with me. I just didn't want to kill him! That's all!” shouted Sentinel with sharky voice

When Sentinel says that, suddenly Elita One appears right next to the clone Sentinel, making the original Sentinel optics widen in horror once again.

“Right because knocking him off a building is definitely not hurting him” uttered Elita sarcastically

“Elita-i” Sentinel was unfortunately cut off by the other Sentinel Prime.

“Ignore her; after all, didn't it feel great when you finally caught that criminal, and best of all, you did before Optimus?” boosted Clone Sentinel.

“Seriously why is it always Optimus this, Optimus that, Optimus everywhere!” huffed Elita “You might have let him do your job himself considering you can't do anything right“

Clone Sentinel and Elita progress to argue with each other while original Sentinel feels the world around him spinning again until he can't take anymore.

“WILL YOU TWO JUST UGH.. SHUT UP…I JUST NEED TO..to find Jetfire and Jetstorm “ shouted Sentinel at the top of his voice box

“So what do you can mess up everything again, insult them to their faceplates oh yeah I'm sure they would love that “spoke Elita sarcastically “All you ever do Is destroy”

Elita's words suddenly created a line of darkness that sucked up clone Sentinel as he screamed over and over not to listen to her before consuming everything around Sentinel including Elita herself in a pinch of black darkness that was only lightened by red lights hanging over mirrors which repeated all the times that he hurt someone presenting him as this giant red monstrous being as Elita's word echoed across the room over and over again.

“All you ever do is destroy” echoed Elita over and over again.

Sentinel tried to run; however, it was an endless maze of mirrors everywhere to the point he got frustrated with everything.

“STOP IT STOP JUST STOP IT!” shouted Sentinel punching into one of the mirrors in frustration

Once again, to his horror, this mirror transformed into Jazz, who immediately shattered onto the ground upon contract, making Sentinel scream and cry in horror.

“NOOOOO!!” screamed Sentinel dropping down on his knees with his sevros covering his faceplate “Jazz- Jetfire-Jetstrom- I'm- “

Sentinel was cut off and snapped back into reality when he tripped over and landed on the grounds of a junkyard, where he ended up repeating Elita’s words.

“All I ever do is…AHH!!” screamed Sentinel kicking a large heap of scraps

The scale pile suddenly toppled over, burying Sentinel under a seemingly endless heap of junk.

Screaming in rage, Sentinel struggled to dig himself out of the scrap pile with all the determination in his spark. However, every time he punched a piece of scrap away, it transformed into either the twins or Jazz, making him panic and back off.

“NO! NO! NO! STOP! I WANT IT TO STOP!” Sentinel yelled.

Amidst the chaos, the drawing that Jetstorm had made for him suddenly fell out of his glove compartment and landed in the junk pile.

“NO! NO! NO!” Sentinel cried, swimming toward the drawing to grab it.

He managed to seize the drawing, but the exit he had been trying to create collapsed inward, once again trapping him with his legs tangled in the debris, which pulled him downward.

Despite his efforts to fight back while screaming, he slowly began to lose the will to resist as memories of all the terrible things he had done flashed before him, leaving his hard drive consumed by darkness.

He was completely trapped, there was no escape from this at all he felt himself sinking deeper into the pile of scrap.

Elita was offline, Jazz, along with Blurr, turned his back on him, and Jetfire and Jetstorm were gone, the only reminder of them was a drawing that Jetstorm regretted even creating.

There was nobody for him to blame, it was only him all by himself.. he had been doing nothing other than talk to himself ever since he threatened Wasp and once again he began doing it yet this time while looking down at the drawing that Jetstorm made for him.

“You know what fine! You two can go off without me because I-” Sentinel choked on his words since he wanted to lie, saying that he didn't want them, and yet he was in such a vulnerable mindset that he ended up twisting it into something else completely.

“BECAUSE YOU COGHEADS DON'T FRAGGING NEED ME! “ screamed Sentinel, throwing the drawing upwards into the air in mixed frustration and sadness.

The drawing crashed hard against the walls of the garbage piles, immediately filling Sentinel with regret as he reached out to grab it, crying out, “No, no, come back!” However, it was too far out of reach because he was still stuck and sinking.

Seeing the drawing of himself, Jetfire, and Jetstorm so unattainable ignited a fire of determination within Sentinel. For a brief moment, his willpower returned. He managed to kick off the junk below him and swam upwards, finally grabbing the drawing again and holding it close to his chest. But as he began to lose his willpower again, flashes of all the things he had done wrong reflected on the surface of the scrap.

“Nobody needs me…” Sentinel huffed through sobs, curling up into a ball.

He was about to fully accept that he would be trapped here forever, with nobody ever looking for him. Everyone would be safer and better off without him until he heard a sudden rumble from above. Looking up, he saw an opening in the pile of scrap where Optimus stood, looking down at him.

“Sentinel, there you are-” Optimus was cut off by Sentinel yelling at him.

“GET AWAY FROM ME!” yelled Sentinel on edge, looking less angry and more scared.

Sentinel pulled out his lance pointing it at Optimus's faceplate with sharky a servo as he glared at him optics filled with fear while the other servo held Jetstorm's drawing closely.

“Let me guess, you are here to finish the job, to be the big fat hero that everyone deserves.” continued Sentinel, showing the side of the faceplate that was injured by Optimu's axe. “Well then go ahead and do it, end all of this”

Optimus was shocked at what Sentinel was implying. Sure the blue prime got on his nerves but he could never do such a thing.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Sentinel; I'm here to help, “ uttered Optimus, extending a servo towards the blue prime.

Sentinel quickly backs away from the red prime’s servo, inhaling deeply as his optics spin around in fear, trying his best to keep his guard up.

“THEN WHY THE SCRAP DID YOU THREW AX AT MY FACEPLATE ” shouted Sentinel “Just face it Optimus you were trying to take me down, save Wasp just any big fat hero would do against a big fat bad guy”

Sentinel calling himself the villain was definitely a first in the books and was very unexpected yet Optimus refused to let Sentinel demonize himself even if highly disapproved of the way he treated and handled Wasp.

“Sentinel, you're not a villain; look, I don't like how you handle Wasp at all, but I've seen what you have built,“ uttered Optimus. “Jazz told me that you set up every one of your unit’s graduation personally and how you changed so many bots’ lives, that not exactly evil Sentinel “

“OH REALLY THEN TELL WANT FRAG I AM ” shouted Sentinel “Because as I am concerned their only two roles here, the hero and the villains which one is it, Optimus “

“i-i don't know ok! I really don't know Sentinel “Maybe there are just bots that are…just struggling to survive “

“So I'm a struggler then..t-that doesn't fragging explain anything” huffed Sentinel

“Well maybe sometimes life can't be explained, do really think I wanted to stay on this planet when I first came here” sighed Optimus “…no but then something unexpected happened I huh made bonds..saw what this place has to offer and in a way, I guess you could say that Earth, my team they are my Jetfire and Jetstorm “

Sentinel remains with his lance directed at Optimus's faceplate, but he gradually lowers it, allowing Optimus to sit beside him and offer comfort.

“Wh-what are you getting at Optimus? It not like you ever lose your circuits towards your team,” huffed Sentinel.

“You don't think I lost my ever circuits towards my team? Most of them don't even listen to me half of the time especially Bumblebee and Sari and you don't think that not frustrating “ complained Optimus “You have no idea how many I almost explored at Sari for not following what I said”

Sentinel narrowed his optics at Optimus: did Mr. Earth's lover seriously get angry at the small human that followed him around.?

“wait you mean the small human that followed you around “ questioned Sentinel” You seriously telling me you get angry at…. her”

“Her name is Sari, Sentinel, and yes I do, but that is not the point,” sighed Optimus.

“Then what is the point? “ Questioned Sentinel angrily.

“The point is that we both built something, you on Cybertron with the Aerialbots and me on Earth, and I don't think either of us wants to lose that, “muttered Optimus. “And I think we could build something together… “

Optimus once again extended his servo towards Sentinel, with the blue Prime slightly lower. He was still on guard.

“So what do you say ready to continue our little arrangement” spoke Optimus

“I-” Sentinel was cut off by something grabbing his arm and pulling him downward, Sentinel turned his helm to find that it was Alpha Trion.

“Do you really to team up with Optimus don't forget what he did” hissed Alpha Trion.

Suddenly a vision of Wasp with a hole through their neck appears floating above Sentinel looking like a walking corpse.

“Don't forget what you did” hissed Wasp.

Sentinel felt the world spinning around him once as an attempt to fight against Alpha Trion pulled with every struggle feeling like an endless war.

“ WILL YOU GET SCRAPE OFF ME! ALPHAWRONG’” yelled Sentinel before successfully pulling away from Alpha Trion, putting his lance away, and taking Optimus sevro.

Sentinel snapped back to reality to see that Optimus looking at him with concern yet Sentinel quickly continued the whole arrangement conversation since he did not want to appear as crazy.

“Fine but I don't want to be anywhere near that Wasp got it.., I just wanted to get Jetfire and Jetstorm and get out of here” gruffed Sentinel sadly.

“Sentinel you have to apologize to Wasp at one point or another “ spoke Optimus “You could of nearly offline him”

“AND YOU DON'T THINK I KNOW THAT” shouted Sentinel pulling away from Optimus and putting his both servos on his helm. “W-why else would you think I want to be as far from tha-him as possible “

“Well, wait- you don't want to hurt him again,” deduced Optimus

Sentinel didn't say anything, letting silence be his answer while his whole body began shaking like a leaf. However, Optimus placed a comforting servo on the blue prime’s shoulder, making him finch a bit.

“Look…Sentinel I get it but whether you like it or not you have to face responsibility, you can't keep running forever “ sighed Optimus.” for now let's just find Jetfire and Jetstorm “

“...You don't know when to give up, do you, Optimus?” sighed Sentinel with a little huff.

“neither do you “ sighed Optimus “…now come on let's find Jetfire and Jetstorm “

Optimus transformed into his vehicle mode and drove away while Sentinel just stood there for a minute as he lifted Jetstorm’s drawing gently caressing it before putting it in his glove compartment and transforming into his vehicle mode to fly after Optimus.

Jetfire soared through the sky, calling out for his brother until he spotted him sitting on the roof of a building, gazing at the endless sky.

“Jetstorm, I thought I would never find you!” cried Jetfire, running up to hug his brother from behind, only for Jetstorm to dodge the embrace.

“Je-Jetstorm…” whispered Jetfire in concern.

Jetstorm stared at Jetfire in silence before breaking down in tears, sniffling. Once again, Jetfire ran up to hug him, and this time, Jetstorm accepted it.

“How could he call us all idiots after everything we've been through together? Did all of this mean nothing to him?” Jetstorm cried softly. “Are we as worthless to him as everyone else sees us?”

“What? No! Jetstorm, we aren’t worthless!” cried Jetfire.

“THEN WHY DID WE GET SO EXCITED ABOUT A STUPID GAME, GET DEFEATED SO EASILY BY A MEDIC, AND THEN SENTINEL CALL US IDIOTS?” Jetstorm nearly shouted as he pulled away from Jetfire. “YOU KNOW WHY? IT’S BECAUSE WE MEAN NOTHING TO ANYBODY!”

Jetfire tried to hug his brother again, but Jetstorm kept dodging it, refusing any comfort.

“Well, forget what Sentinel said; we still have each other—” Jetfire started, but was cut off by Jetstorm's angry tears.

“WHEN WILL IT EVER BE MORE THAN JUST US?” shouted Jetstorm, curling up into a ball and creating a large tornado around himself.

Jetfire was tossed against the edge of the building by Jetstorm’s spinning tornado, looking up in horror as his brother floated in the middle, flinging debris everywhere.

“JETSTORM, PLEASE! IT'S US AGAINST THE WORLD, REMEMBER?” cried Jetfire, reaching toward his brother.

“I DON'T WANT TO BE WITH ANYBODY RIGHT NOW! LEAVE ME ALONE!” screamed Jetstorm.

With a swirling gust of wind, Jetstorm pushed Jetfire away before flying off, the tornado surrounding him unintentionally picking up debris and buildings as he disappeared into the darkness of the sky.

Jetfire stared at the path of destruction his brother had created, his spark broken. This was the first fight he had ever had with Jetstorm, and he couldn't help but fall to his knees in tears, sobbing until Jazz found him.

“Jetfire, I'm here, man!” cried Jazz, running towards the orange mech.

Jetfire turned his helm, revealing the tears in his optics, which Jazz noticed immediately. He pulled Jetfire into a hug, and the jet began to cry his spark out.

“Jetstorm..he pushed me.. away..he left me here.. it was supposed to be us against the world.” Sniffing, Jetfire sank deeper into Jazz's hug. “And now he doesn't want me..”

“What ! That crazy talk! Your brother loves you “ reassured Jazz.

“Then why did he say he didn't want to be around anybody, even me! “ cried Jetfire

“L-look I don't know man but I know one thing for sure: Sentinel and Jetstorm love you more than anything else on Cybertron, they just going through some things “ reassured Jazz

“Then why doesn't this feel like love? Why is it just all pain” cried Jetfire." Why did Jetstorm have to push me away, why did Sentinel have to push you away!”

“I- well I guess sometimes there are moments that you accidentally hurt the ones that you love man“ sighed Jazz “because.. love itself a bit of a mess “

Jefire's sobs turned quieter as he sank deeper into Jazz's hug, never wanting to let go of the white mech.

“Do you really think that Sentinel loves us” sniffed Jetfire

“Of course he does man, you know the first thing he did as soon as he put down Wasp… he flew towards your direction “ softly spoked Jazz “ and you have no idea how many times he bragged about you two towards other bots, he adores you guys and he wouldn't jump into a garbage chute if he didn't”

“Then how come he never says..it..why can't he say I love you at least once “ snuffled Jetfire.

“I don't think he's prepared for that yet but I do one thing: there is nothing he wouldn't do to make sure that you two are safe “ sighed Jazz

“How do you know he not just going to call us idiots again as soon as get here” questioned Jetfire

For a moment there was nothing other than silence until the two spotted a familiar blue and orange jet in the sky; it was Sentinel.

“Jetfire, there you are!” yelled Sentinel, landing on the roof and transforming into his bot mode. “Do you have any idea how fire-up my circuits were?!”

Optimus soon joined Sentinel by climbing onto the roof and confronting the building alone. However, Jetfire quickly pulled away from Jazz's embrace when he noticed Sentinel directing a fearful yet somewhat angry glare at the blue mech.

“..i..Let me guess you are here to call me an idiot for running off aren't you.. “ huffed Jetfire with tears “Well go ahead do it, I dare you “

Sentinel did feel an intense urge to scream in Jetfire's faceplate for nearly scaring him to death by flying off just as he was about to explode. However, he remembered what happened the last time he called the twins idiots, so he did his best to hold back his anger, though it was clear he was struggling to keep his composure. Slowly, he reached into his glove compartment.

Jetfire’s optics widened in surprise as Sentinel silently handed him Jetstorm's drawing.

“Y-you keep it,” Jetfire sniffed, holding the drawing closely to his chest plate.

“I, um, appreciate the artistic effort, you know. I might consider framing it,” Sentinel choked out.

Optimus rolled his optics before nudging Sentinel with his arm, trying to push him in the right direction.

“What?” Huffed Sentinel over to Optimus.

“Remember what we talk about” whispered Optimus to Sentinel, a little annoyed.

Sentinel sighed and huffed as grinded his mouth before breathing out and talking to Jetfire again.

“Huh, did I say might? I meant I would frame it! Yeah, right on the top so everyone can see it, you know,” gurgled Sentinel, trying to salvage the situation.

Optimus groaned a bit at this: when will Sentinel just get to the point already instead of avoiding like the purge?

“Really, and why that? questioned Jetfire with a little sniffing.

“Why beca-because-” Sentinel keeps cutting himself off unable to find the right word but with a big gulp he managed to come up with something

“Because..huh you two are like the All spark is to Cybertron to me, you’re huh important and well huh And I don't want either of you to be lost like the all spark, got that“ sighed Sentinel being genuine. “ so.. huh..I’m-im..huh”

Sentinel struggles to swallow his pride enough to apologize after there was a small part of himself that thought he did what he needed to do yet there was another part of himself that was aware that went way too far and it seemed they were fighting against each other until Sentinel finally was able to swallow his pride although was extremely painful for him he manages to cough up a genuine “I'm sorry” in awkward stutters yet it was clear that he was trying.

Jetfire's spark swelled when Sentinel apologized so ran towards Sentinel and enveloped him in a giant hug while sobbing. At first, Sentinel stood stiffly, unsure of how to react, but he eventually hugged Jetfire back awkwardly, sinking into the embrace. Jazz watched with a small smile, while Optimus starred in genuine surprise, feeling proud that Sentinel managed to apologize since it was a huge step for someone as prideful as him even if it could use some work.

Suddenly during the hug, Sentinel realized that Jetstorm wasn't with Jetfire, causing him to pull back slightly.“Wait, where is your brother?” asked Sentinel to scan around for the missing twin.

“H-he went that way,” sniffed Jetfire, pointing at the path of destruction that his brother had created.

“WHAT?” shouted Sentinel rilled up by the destruction “ We-well COME ON, WE HAVE TO FIND HIM! “

Before Jazz or Optimus could tell Sentinel to wait, the blue Prime had already transformed into his vehicle mode alongside Jetfire, and both soared into the sky in search of the missing twin

.“Those two are seriously head first before thinking, aren't they?” sighed Optimus, a little annoyed.

“Well wouldn't you do the same for your team” questioned Jazz “Now come on let's go after those crazy cats again”

Jazz scaled down the building with Optimus following behind both bots transformed into their vehicle mode once they reached the ground where they attempted to keep up with Sentinel and Jefire.

In the skies, Sentinel and Jetfire searched for Jetstorm, calling out his name until they spotted a tornado spinning in the district forest, where Jetstorm was curled up in the center.

“There he is!” cried Jetfire, speeding toward his brother as fast as he could.

Sentinel tried to keep up when suddenly—BLAM!

Sentinel was shot in the side by Thundercracker, sending him crashing to the ground against a tree. Thundercracker laughed, mocking Sentinel, joined by the other Seekers.

“Oh look, a little silly Autobot wanted to learn how to fly!” laughed Thundercracker, alongside the other Seekers.

“Sentinel!” cried Jetfire as he immediately flew toward the blue prime.

Jetfire soared above the Seekers shooting them in the air while Sentinel got up from the ground, ready to fight back with his lance and shield.

Soon, both Jetfire and Sentinel found themselves back to back, fighting off the Decepticons. Jetfire executed a backflip, kicking Sunstorm in the face, while Sentinel struck Slipstream in the chest plate with his shield. They fought valiantly and skillfully, but they were outnumbered, and Jetstorm was getting further away.

“Jetfire, go after your brother while I deal with these Null Skulls!” yelled Sentinel, trying to create a protective bubble with his shield, although it was challenging with the Seekers darting around.

“I’m not going to leave you!” cried Jetfire, shooting flames at Slipstream and Skywarp.

Sunstorm and Thundercracker attempted to ambush Jetfire from behind, but Sentinel quickly blocked their advance with his shield and used it as a barrier to push the other Seekers away as he charged forward.

“GO!” shouted Sentinel, disappearing into the forest as he unleashed his pent-up rage on the Seekers with every insult he could think of.

Jetfire wiped away his tears before racing off to catch up with his brother, eventually finding him inside a cave surrounded by floating debris, where Jetstorm was crying.

“Didn't I say to leave me alone “ cried Jetstorm backing against the wall of the cave causing the ceiling to nearly collapse due to the storm around him

Jetfire slowly approached Jetstorm with his open arms and a look of compassion in his optics.

“I can't because you’re my brother and I love you” choked Jetfire “And so does Sentinel”

Jetfire pulled out Jetstorm's drawing and showed It to him which slowly calmed down the blue twin.

“Jetstorm he kept this and he told me that we were as important as the all spark is to Cybertron” uttered Jetfire “And now he's out there fighting Decepticons and he needs our help “

Jetstorm looked up at Jetfire in skepticism; he wanted to trust his brother yet he didn't know if he could trust Sentinel after what he did and how Jetfire could still love him when he pushed him away.

“how I am supposed to believe that after what he did” sniffed Jetstorm “How I am supposed to believe myself”.

“I would never lie to you I promise, you don't have to forgive him but please.. help him” sighed Jetfire “And I know that you're so much more than you think you are“

Jetfire placed Jetstorm's drawing back into his glove compartment and, without hesitation, jumped into the fading tornado to pull his brother into a hug. This time, Jetstorm fully accepted the embrace, offering no resistance. As the tornado faded away around them, they sank to the ground together, both kneeling and sobbing in each other's arms.

“I’m so sorry that I pushed you” sniffed Jetstorm “I never meant to hurt you,”

“I know you didn't “ sniffing Jetfire before getting up on his feet “Now come on let's kick Decepticon aft”

Jetstorm smiled a little before exiting the cave with his brother in front as they entered the forest to find Sentinel getting blasted in the side of a nearby cliff by Slipstream soon the rest of the seekers surrounded him with their blasters ready to shoot his helm off while Sentinel struggled to get up with him groaning in complains.

“Say goodbye Autobot” smirked Slipstream.

Jetfire and Jetstorm shoot at Slipstream’s backside catching her attention including the rest of the seekers.

“DON'T TOUCH HIM!” shouted Jetfire shooting two seekers in the shoulders.

The seekers hissed before attacking the twins who fought side by side using their fire and wind power to fight the seekers while Sentinel despite being heavily injured joined in with the twins.

Jetfire burned a few seekers with his blaster, dodging most of their attacks and punching down with offense moves while Jetstorm stayed on the defensive yet threw a windstorm or two at a couple of the Decepticons and Sentinel used his shield along with his lance to defect some of the attacks.

When Jetstorm was almost overwhelmed by Sunstorm and Thundercracker, Sentinel quickly knocked them away with Jetfire by his side while Jetstorm stared in surprise and astoundment.

“GET AWAY FROM HIM” shouted Sentinel

“SERVO OFF MY BROTHER” shouted Jetfire

The three was a will old machine fighting cons left and right until the battle was finally over as Jetstorm knocked out the last seeker onto the ground with Sentinel quickly using his shield to trap the seekers in a bubble.

“And that's why you don't mess with the Aerialbots! You cogheads“ huffed Sentinel before turning around towards the twins.

For a moment the three winged autobots stared at each other in awkward silence not knowing what to say to each at all until Sentinel cut it off with a little cough.

“I-hugh.. thanks for..huh coming to my aid” choked Sentinel “And huh Jetstorm.. I appreciate your huh artistic vision “

“Artistic.. wait you..like my drawing, “asked Jetstorm a little choked up. “Y- you didn't hate it”

Sentinel gulped, finding it difficult to say yes, so he responded with a small nod instead. He struggled with his pride but managed to choke out an "I'm sorry," even though it sounded as if he were about to collapse. Still, his apology was sincere.

Jetstorm burst into tears, running toward Sentinel and pulling him into a hug. Although initially taken aback, Sentinel hugged him back, with Jetfire joining in the embrace.

Suddenly, Optimus and Jazz appeared on the scene, expecting to help save the day, only to be surprised by the sight before them.

“Huh, what do you know I guess they figured things out didn't they “ smiled Jazz proudly.

“Huh, I guess they did” uttered Optimus wondering why he was even here at this point.

Sentinel pulled out the hug and causally picked up the seekers inside of his shield looking ready to leave.

“Now let's throw these cons in the slammer and get out here “ smiled Sentinel low-key forgetting about Wasp for a minute since he was just glad he got the twins back

Optimus however didn't forget about Wasp and blocked Sentinel’s path which is pointless considering he can fly.

“Hold on Sentinel aren't you forgetting somebody, you know a certain someone that you threatened “ questioned Optimus narrowing his optics at Sentinel.

“Frag.. “sighed Sentinel wondering if Optimus was plotting to kill him “Huh Optimus do you really think it a good idea for me to see him considering..you know what happened..“

“Sentinel if you can apologize to Jetfire and Jetstorm, I’m sure you can apologize to Wasp “ sighed Optimus “You need to face what you've done, I promise he won't hurt you as long as you don't hurt him got it“

“Look.. all this talk about responsibility, hurting certain bots, are you sure this is just about Wasp” questioned Sentinel with narrowed optics looking at Optimus a bit suspiciously since the red prime was acting low-key bitter.

“W-what? No, of course not! Why would it be anyone else?” stuttered Optimus. “I—look, it’s very likely my team took Wasp back to base. So, after you’re done with this, you can meet me there and do what’s necessary, okay? It’s the right thing.”

With that, Optimus transformed into his vehicle mode and drove away, leaving Sentinel with rising suspicion that it wasn't solely about Wasp. Optimus’s mention of hurting others, including friends, sounded far too bitter.

Sentinel could connect the dots, realizing this might relate to their past together and the whole Acha Seven accident.

However, before he could delve further into his thoughts, Jetstorm took his servo, making him turn around to face the blue twin.

“ hey, Sentinel if you're going to Wasp...You're not going to hurt him again are you” questioned Jetstorm seriously “Promise me you're not going to hurt him”

“I-”’ Sentinel was cut off by Jetstorm's pleading.

“Promise me please, I really wanted to trust you again “ sighed Jetstorm “Just please”

Sentinel was conflicted. On one hand, Wasp had broken charges for assaulting a member of the elite guard and had been uncooperative. On the other hand, Sentinel himself had almost taken Wasp offline, which was something he never wanted to do. Moreover, he didn't want to lose the twins again, especially after just getting them back.

Should he let this slide and focus on the upcoming retrial? Usually, Sentinel wouldn't hesitate to show someone the consequences of breaking the law, but this situation was different. He could lose someone he cared about, and he didn't want to go down that path again. Yet, he also took pride in ensuring that protocol was followed at all costs.

This dilemma weighed heavily on him. He had vowed never to break protocol again after witnessing the consequences that befell his beloved Elita One. However, following protocol this time might cost him his new connections.
