Most of the batman media I've consumed recently is about dickbin so of course he became my muse, also out of all the robins he has my fav backstory ^^

The first thing I wanted gone in my design were the exposed legs. It was a battle between green tights (like btas) or black ones like Damian's, I eventually settled in black tights and black sleeves with a leotard over it, kinda like Dick's "Hood" costume in ASBAR, or like Timbin's first costume. Overall, I wanted to preserve Dick's "acrobat out of the circus vibe"

I took some elements from Dark Victory like the cape clasps (love the way Tim Sale embraced Dick's circus roots when designing his costume) and the single bangle on his left hand when in civvies (So heartbreaking that he lost most of his jewelry after the accident!!)

The utility belt is from Batman and Robin: Year One, I like that they don't use grappling guns but instead just throw grappling hooks on a rope like old comics did, so now I have the headcanon that it wasn't until after a few years of Dick's arrival in the manor that they designed a functional grappling gun. Imagine all those long years of climbing buildings batman '66 style XD)

For the hairstyle and the face I used Chris O'Donnell as my reference, he really looked so much like robin, especially when he had longer hair. Personality wise he's just a mix of vibes between all of these comics I mentioned earlier
