What do you think it feels like to suddenly realize you're Batman's problem? I imagine it's terrifying. Like, one day you're just doing what you think are petty crimes or at least they look small in comparison to whatever tf Joker does. You've got motion but you think all you have to worry about is the cops. One moment you're counting cash or moving product and the next thing you know everything is going black. Your left butt cheek is now kissing your forehead and you don't remember if you ever had legs to begin with. You've heard the stories, of course you have. Everyone in Gotham has heard of the Batman. You're expecting him to grab you by the collar and make a demand. "Now Talk!" He doesn't do that. Instead he stands over you and says "You'll have plenty of time to think about what you've done on Arkham." Huh? With killer croc 'n' 'em? Surely not. But he wasn't joking and you weren't hallucinating. He folded you like an Auntie Anne's pretzel and sent you to live with the worst of the worst. Like, the first time has got to be horrifying right?
