Time to look at Callum and Rayla. A spotty relationship, however can we consider that when Rayla "kidnapped" Callum and Ezran (I would like to note that nothing in here is aimed toward Ezran) it was pretend to trick Claudia, Soren and everyone else there.

Back to Claudia and Terry. Terry does not seem like the type to become as emotionally attached to his kidnapper as he was to Claudia so we can assume that there was no kidnapping.
