So I've spent the whole day Tuesday sleeping and being lazy. I was planning on going to get a haircut (I've been stressed and wanted to do something drastic with my hair) but the hair salon was closed Tuesday. So I slept. Not much happened really.
I'm mostly just conflicted about this scheduling problem I have. I've found out that the pride parade is happening in the end of June, and I had bought a ticket and was ready to go. I requested the day off and everything. Literally after talking to Whitney on Friday, my request for the day off was rejected. Reason: Manager going on vacation.
Of course, I spoke to my manager about my request, just asking why it was rejected. And like usual, he started this whole thing about how "he gave me everything I wanted and no one is allowed to ask for days off" or whatever. It's extremely unfair, since I've done what I was supposed to and did the request within the time frame.
Literally the pride parade was the one thing that was keeping me going lately. Whitney even said that it would definitely help me with my motivation. But then this happens :)
I have a plan that I'm not sure if it will work. I'm gonna ask Whitney if she could write me a note saying I have to go on this "very important" appointment on that day. I don't know if it will work, but let's hope it does. If it's a medical note, maybe Jasper has to give me the day off. Otherwise, I guess I can't be gay :')
