Tipi in the Woods - 2016
Came across this shelter in the woods one day during the peak of autumn colour. A long-term makeshift Tipi for vagabonds that called it home during the summer months. I looked inside the tent to find foam mattresses and cooking utensils strewn about, it appeared as though no one had visited the structure in quite some time. After leaving the area I stopped to check myself for ticks and found a couple of the parasitic creatures crawling around on my stomach. I can only imagine what it would be like to live in such conditions and constantly having to check yourself for the tiny arachnids. Quebec, Canada.
