ANYWAY NOTES
1.) Quirkless
Yeah I mentioned switching the toe thing for teeth and BOY
Very 'normal' to us teeth.
Ex: All Might, Melissa, Aoyama
2,) Baseline Quirk
Anyone who has a Quirk but their Quirk doesn't effect their teeth will have fangs of some kind. Canines are noticeably larger than Quirkless.
Ex: Like 80% of the cast tbh
3.) Big
Canines are even larger than baseline. Most Mutation Quirks will have this. The trait can be passed down to children who seem to have Emitter or Transformation Quirks, either as a sign of minor mutation(often accompanied by other inherited traits) and/or a sign of dormant genetics
While the first two categories are able to hide in the mouth, this set will have the larger canines poking out a little unless they actively hide them.
Ex: Most Mutation Quirks, 5/6 of the Todorokis, Himiko
4.) Kiri!
I had to add Kiri's teeth. Technically also Tetsutetsu's but I didn't write him because it's early af for me.
All teeth are sharp! Likely from a mutation, especially as I'm adding more shark-esque qualities in regrowth ability.
While all teeth are sharp, most aren't bigger than normal. Their canines are in similar size to the 'Big' category though, and will stick out
There's probably other characters with this teeth type out there but fuck it not dealing with that now
5.) Vlad King
Had to add him because I have NOT given him as much attention as I'd like to tbh. But he canonically has big lower canines and I love that!
Which yes those teeth stick out even when his mouth is closed!
Notes:
Due to the differences in teeth, it's harder to nail down the fact that Quirkless people don't have fangs. Plenty of people have Quirks that influence their teeth and throw off data of 'are the 'baseline' genuinely 'baseline' or just a common mutation? Not to mention someone could have a Quirk that takes away their fangs. Or hell they don't have any kind of teeth they have some weird snoot or beak or just goo.
Add in the confusion on Quirks. All Might is someone who has no fangs, but seems to have a Quirk as far as the public knows. Same with Aoyama. On the flipside, Izuku has the baseline Quirked Fangs, but has been labeled as 'Quirkless' until recently. And there's likely more people like him who have some hard-to-notice Quirk and are mislabeled as 'Quirkless'.
So while it's a rule within my writing, in-universe it's speculated on but not confirmed.
note:
This is also something I'm using in my main Crossoververse in regards to Magic. No Magic or Dormant = Quirkless teeth. Most Magic users have the Baseline Quirk. Some creatures like Vampires, Dragons, etc. will have the Big ones. All pointy or lower canines are also options.
