we don't really have the monster ford trucks in my country because you try driving this shit into like. saint-cirq-lapopie you're not making it out with all your doors your side mirrors and your wheel rims unscraped right you try and drive through besse-et-saint-anastaise with those your shit is getting cleaved in twain. anyways i was stuck going 20km/h on the A75 highway because we were backed up to the horizon for god knows what reason when in my side mirror. taking the entire reflective surface. and god knows i have big side mirrors. the ugliest. biggest. loudest. american pickup truck i've seen in my life. taller than my car, and my car is pretty tall (fourgonnette style). making a noise like a boat, like it's about to stall right there going 40km/h in the left lane. cleanest rims and underside i ever did see. pitch black with Nightmare Before Christmas decals on it. if i was not running a fever and stunned from having driven 120km/h with both front windows open the inside fans blasting lukewarm air in my face (no AC) & music loud enough to attempt to cover the noise of the insane windage i'd have burst out laughing. all this to be a pavement pet stuck sub-50km/h on the A75 with the rest of us. i had a twingo overtake me on my drive up that was faster louder and more impressive than you bro roll over like a bug

haven't read holes by louis sachar but i can gather it's more or less the same thing. except i begged like a dog for this hole opportunity excavated in stratae of 10cm sent buckets to the sieve station and put 3000yo charcoal and clay cob chunks in little baggies. so basically the same thing

I think I'm actually pretty happy with myself. Everything here was made within the last six months, which means I've been quite productive. Even though I've felt pretty awful for most of this year, I somehow managed to keep going.
