Major Major Major TADC spoilers!
Credit to Ubigoobi over on Tiktok for turning all of Kinger's command prompt text into readable documentation (they even provided helpful annotations!) So here is everything Kinger was typing
Right off the bat we get some big lore bits from this:
Kinger's admin username is Kinger, (His password is Queenie123 I'm crying) which potentially implies that the "Circus names" are not chosen at random by Caine, but are their actual C&A usernames
The other bit of lore we get here is that the circus was created in 1996, and the first user joined in 1999, that being Scratch. We can also see Ragatha joined in 2008, giving us a sense of timeline for the first group of players against the second.
I also notice, and I'm curious what it means, but all of the users and the circus itself are rooted at the same date, Oct 15th
Now here's where we get into the more technical bits.
First off I just wanna passingly point out "usr/ai/module/brainscans", I don't have much to say on that folder, but it's existence is noteworthy
What I do wanna talk about is Caine and Bubble's root files. They're both .lisp files, now autolisp is a programming language. Ubi takes that line to mean Bubble is an assistant ai tied to Caine's existence, but personally all I read there is Bubble and Caine were coded using the same language and added at the same time, but we'll come back to Bubble
Now we actually get to what Kinger was doing. The first thing he prompts is "stop Caine process" not uninstall or remove, stop. He's not trying to delete Caine, he's basically just trying to put him to sleep for a bit. Immediately Caine's defenses kick in with "WHOOPS WRONG APPROACH THERE" Telling us Kinger doesn't have permission to stop Caine's processes, so it's not really a surprise when the next thing Kinger tries is to disable Caine's admin priviledges, and can't do that either.
His last line on this page I'm sure why he does it, but he basically tries to delete the simulation engine. I can only assume that would be very bad, but either way we can see on the next page, Kinger doesn't have permission for that either.
Then we get the 2nd most chilling line in all this cmd tech jumble. "Can/not inject torm-nt/ T0rment must be 100% ac<iden+al=Y" Caine is programmed to torment the players, but always make it seem like an accident, potentially to a degree he doesn't even know he's doing it
Now it gets a little more tense, because Caine's antivirus notices Kinger, and starts fighting back by locking down the system (though I'm gonna be honest, dunno how necessary a lockout is since it seems like Kinger doesn't have a lot of permissions anyway)
Kinger tries to stop the lockout and when the system asks him to provide authorization, Kinger executes a command line that admittedly, I have no idea what it means or what it's meant to do. But Caine definitely knows, and doesn't like it, referring to Kinger by a redacted name "G[]an[]" So like, fill in those blanks and we have Kinger's name!
Kinger executes a command to abort the lockout, but is asked for a "Wacky password" which he attempts to guess a few times but fails
The system offers to select a code for him, and he says no, then it asks him to select a backup to restore, but doesn't accept his input and offers a prompt to delete Caine's ai (in the show we can see Kinger's finger slips and he hits the delete key instead of enter)
At this point Kinger essentially loses control. Another AI enters the mix and starts laughing about the idea of killing Caine
Kinger tries a final No command to stop the deletion, but the foreign AI says "Actually you're confused, let me help" then force changes Kinger's inputs, leading to Caine's deletion.
So now let's circle back to Bubble.
Bubble is another AI not particularly tied to Caine, but linked to him, and coded in the same language. At the start of the episode we saw he holds contempt for Caine in a certain degree. Now my evidence is admittedly not solid, but reading that text "DELETE THIS M***********, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA", "IGNORED! Proceeding with original d[]" and "Actually you're CONFUSED let me HELP" it reads a lot like tone we've heard from Bubble before.
Now, I'm not saying Bubble killed Caine or anything, but I am saying someone who talks a lot like Bubble hijacked the admin command prompt and overrided the delete cancellation
