My second, it was inspired by Vi's fighting in arcane but it is not my favourite but it took me 6 hours to draw so here it is

704 exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed it, even with Liv taking 5 mini baby steps forward and 10 huge ones back in the end. It is obvious as hell that the only person who can bring Liv back to reality, to make her truly face her demons and get some fucking help is Fitz. From the moment he arrived in DC, the POWER lust demon that has made Liv into Rowana went into complete panic mode & it reflected in her actions.

She was doing THE MOST to find a negative motive for Fitz's return. Also, her ego took a big blow because Fitz played it hella cool until late in the episode. He didn't give a FUCK. He even roasted her a little bit in QPA with the whole 'you wanna get a drink...or should we just keep hanging out near elevators' quip. He's certainly hurt but he wasn't all GRRR jealous about the reporter dude or anything like she's used to. He was Zen and on a Mission. His purpose in coming back to DC was to help with the missing girls case and he's staying around to continue working with Marcus (and QPA, yay!) on relevant social issues. Fitz is the good kind of Woke.

Yes, seeing Liv again was a factor and yes, he and Rowan are working together to save her from herself (it's the least the evil old fuck can do since his re-entry into Liv's life led to some of the worst decisions she's made, Olitz and solo) BUT he has a life outside of her. Fitz has solid plans, hopes and dreams outside of her and that was a needed swift kick to the face for Liv.

She never thought that Fitz would really try to move on, even though he definitely still loves her very, very much but he's holding back...well, not completely, anyways. The highest point of the ep (other than the missing girls case having a happy ending/start and her still SAVAGELY curving Joke, much to his ever pressed and bitter salty fuckboy-ology) was the Olitz scene in her apartment and the apparent sex they had. I know full and damned well that if Olitz will be together, it's gonna happen in the Series Finale but still...I like this new dynamic between them. It's overdue.  

Also, Mellie has become tolerable, even likeable to me nowadays. Cyrus, too. They both still annoy the living fuck out of me but they're tolerable and I am actually rooting for them to get some form of a happy ending before Liv. Actually, everyone but Joke is being rooted for by me before Liv and I'm not the only one. The Promo plus a little Poll on Twitter has indicated that everyone (even Joke's leeching ass) is sick of Rowana/Fauxlivia Rhimes' shit and they're gonna call her to the carpet for it because they care so much for her (or in Fitz's case love) that they don't want the Dark to win.  

Before I begin, I'd like to thank everyone who has kept reading this story because it's been 150 chapters! I totally didn't notice until I saw a couple of reviews and I was like: oh, yeah...LOL! Seriously, thank you. I write for me but it's always dope to know that folks enjoy my stuff!

703 was fucking AWE-SOME. It really was. Seeing Fitz outside of DC's POWER madness was refreshing and quite compelling in places. I know he misses his Livvie just like we do but he's really trying to make a life for himself, trying to be happy. I'm rooting for an Olitz happily ever after or the groundwork laid down to one in the endgame but still...yay, Fitz!

Also, 703 reinforced why I stan him. Fitz is not flawless. Sometimes, he can be a privileged asshole and a pouty broody brat BUT he is willing to grow, willing to learn, and willing to accept & work past his flaws. He is self aware and genuinely humble. Nobody else on the show is like that! His interactions with Marcus (who I still adore and SR better not fucking kill or ruin him, I swear to God!) showcased the good and the bad of Fitz in a way that made me happy. Pretty much, Fitz is acting like TG does IRL when it comes to social issues now & that makes what's left of SCANDAL worth my time.

Fitz makes what's left of SCANDAL worth my time. Always.

The best part of the great episode was when Rowan showed up. I hate Rowan with the fiery passion of a 1000 suns. Every time I see him or hear one of his hotep, bitter old "woke" man standing on the corner monologues, I foam at the mouth but hearing him literally beg Fitz to go back to DC to save Liv from herself (and acknowledging how shitty of a father he is), after all the disrespect towards "the boy", after all the hateful and deadly bullshit he happily did to help Liv in tearing Fitz, herself, and Olitz apart? It was amazing. I always love it when a bully has to swallow a slice of humble pie and Rowan had to eat the whole fucking thing! YAAASSS. SUFFER, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!
