Sundance

A Pyroar who runs the Cat’s Meow Café with Zayn, Esme, Glaire, and Perseus. She mainly handles the cooking. Due to the Sunny Continent’s climate, her hot foods sell very well in the autumn and winter. She often gets asked about her history concerning Panja and how it affects her and Esme’s relationship, but she tries to ignore it. Instead, she prefers to listen to her son’s tall tales about his “adventures” with Leo.

Zayn

A Zangoose who helps with mixing the ingredients in recipes and blending together berries to make drinks. He uses his claws to slice up the food, and then uses the blender to mix the rest. He is also good at slicing things like cakes and pies into equal pieces for the patrons. He enjoys listening to stories that others tell, and is always ecstatic to see a new face.

Esme

An Espeon and Sundance’s girlfriend. Her full name is Esmeralda, but she goes by Esme to make it easier on others. She is one of the food runners, taking orders for patrons and bringing the completed orders to them. Her excellent memory allows her to bring orders back without needing to write anything down. She is also very observant, and will immediately point out when a meal is not up to code.

Glaire

A Glaceon who handles the cold foods such as desserts and drinks. She is usually busier in the hot summers of the Sunny Continent. Unlike the rest of the staff, she pretty much lives in the café, to the point where she sleeps in the freezer after-hours. She hates dealing with customers, and really only got into the business for the money. She is rarely seen at all outside, and thus there are many mysteries and rumors surrounding her.

Perseus

A Persian who looks very different from Naira and Riel. He is one of the food runners, taking orders and bringing them to the patrons. He isn’t one to keep money for himself, and is more than willing to give his tips to others out of the goodness of his heart. Many ask him why he is that way, but he prefers not to answer that query.

Noyus

A Litleo and Sundance’s son. He likes trying to help her cook, although he tends to undercook it, as his fire isn’t as strong as his mother’s. According to his parents, since “Panja” was the name of a king in an old fairy tale, it only makes sense that he would be named after the prince in that tale. He isn’t very bothered by his parents’ divorce at all. He’s a very cheerful child, to the point where he’s perfectly fine with his mother’s divorce, as she wasn’t happy with Panja, realized she liked girls more, and he was too young to remember his father anyway. He calls Sundance “Mom” and Esme “Mother” as a way to distinguish between the two. He is best friends with Leo, and dreams of forming a service team with him one day.

Leo

A Shinx and Noyus’ best friend. He likes to tell others all about his ambitions as a member of a service team, and dreams of one day making the trek to Ferrum City with Noyus. He is the more level-headed of the two, carefully planning out his strategies, while Noyus would rather charge right in. He already knows that he wants his service team to be called “the Lightbringers.”

Aslan

A Luxray and Leo’s father. He takes care of Seraphina’s library with his daughter. He is very supportive of his daughter and is willing to fight to the death if it meant protecting her identity. He's so loyal, however, that he has a hard time accepting that Lucy can handle herself.

Lucy

A Luxio and Leo’s older sister. She was known as "Volt," short for Voltaire, before discovering that she was actually female rather than the male everyone had known her as up until that point. She's been much happier since she embraced her true self, and Lucy has been accepted by Meow Village with open arms. Despite this, she's still a bit sensitive to the conflict between her parents that caused her to never see her mother again, as well as being called "Volt," although she will forgive you if it was clearly not malicious.

Lavender

A Glameow and Seraphina’s grandson. He helps Aslan and Lucy take care of the library, suggesting books to patrons and organizing them when they’re returned. He also helps Umbriel with the Appraisal Service by organizing who brought what boxes in, as he can’t open them himself.

Umbriel

An Umbreon who runs the Appraisal Service. If someone brings her a treasure box, she will use her lock picking skills to open it. She is rather reserved and quiet around new faces, but once she gets to know you, she becomes more vocal. She will make small talk at first to try and find a common interest, which opens her up a lot.

Minerva

An Espurr who dreams of forming a Service Team, much like Leo and Noyus. She is best friends with Marie, but doesn’t want to admit that that she has a crush on her. She’s a very analytical and logical thinker, which allows her to plan effective strategies. She tries not to let her emotions influence her decisions, but she does have trouble with such around Marie. She wants their team name to be “the Passionate.”

Marie

A Purrloin and Lazarus' daughter. She’s into her “It’s not a phase, mom!” years. She’s “edgy” and “badass,” being rebellious and snarky. She admires Minerva for being able to break away from the “control” of her parents and move away. Unlike Minerva, she wants her team name to be “the Slayers.” Because it’s “edgy.”

Chupi

A Pikachu who mysteriously appeared just outside of Shimmering Cave. She appears to have no memory. Not of her name, her past, or how she got there. She can be a bit cautious and shy, but she knows when a situation calls for her to shut up and just jump in. She will also become more vocal as she comes to trust others, showing her true colors as she gets close to them. She has a "K" shaped scar on her right arm, but she is unsure of its origin...

Tybalt

A Litten who lived a calm, organized life until Chupi came along. He is the adopted son of Bodhi and Esther, and he doesn't know or really desire to meet his biological parents. He was told by Esther that when she and her husband were coming up with a name for him, they remembered a character from a story named Tybalt, whose name meant "the Prince of Cats." Tybalt is very cautious and wary, to the point where Chupi ends up having to figuratively and literally shove him into action. He is very fussy about organization, allowing him to carefully assess the situation, but he can get carried away.

Taka

A Meowth and the son of Naira and Riel. He has a greedy desire for money and valuable treasures, and regularly gets into trouble for it. He is pretty spoiled, as both of his parents have decently paying jobs. He is best friends with April the Skitty.

Naira

A Persian and Taka’s mother. She runs the shop in town alongside Lazarus the Liepard. She handles the general store, supplying items such as berries, apples, and seeds. She is a firm believer in “service with a smile,” and makes sure to appear friendly no matter what.

Lazarus

A Liepard who runs the shop with Naira. He focuses on selling wares such as Orbs and TMs. All of the proceeds of his service goes to organizations researching the outbreak of mystery dungeons and what causes them. Unlike Naira, he will not hesitate to express his emotions.

Riel

A Persian and Taka’s father. He runs the Gold Bar Exchange, allowing other Pokémon to trade Gold Bars for money and items. He has a tendency to pocket the money intended for other Pokémon and give it to his son, however.

April

A Skitty who has a rather poor immune system. She regularly gets sick, and thus knows Esther very well. She is best friends with Taka, but would rather not get wrapped up in any of his “get rich quick” schemes. Instead, she wants to be a doctor like Esther.

Elara

A Delcatty and April’s mother. Like April, she knows Esther very well. She runs the bank. She is supportive of her daughter’s dream of becoming a doctor, and allows Esther to give her advice.

Esther

A Meowstic and Tybalt’s mother. She is the village doctor who regularly tends to sick residents and travellers. Her psychic abilities allow her to search her patients minds, in case their sickness causes them to have faulty memory. Unlike her husband, she will not hesitate to scold Tybalt for his mischief and wants him to be safe out in the world.

Bodhi

A Meowstic and Tybalt’s father. He’s rather laid back and is hesitant to discipline Tybalt for any troubles he may end up causing. However, he was the one who taught Tybalt his knack for organization. He runs the town’s storage, so his organization skills really come into play.

Panja

A Pyroar who runs the Move Tutor service. He runs the Pyroar Dojo. This service allows Pokémon that had previously forgotten moves to relearn them, and they can test out new strategies with these moves.

Seraphina

A Purugly and the village elder. She loves to tell stories, and thus is frequently asked about folklore from the past. Her particular favorites are tales about humans, as she is fascinated by cryptids such as them.
