You let me down twice today. Neither time was gentle.

The first thing I noticed about him Was his eyes. Crystals of blue sky with hints Of a green field. So bright they shone through My own and pierced my heart. When he looked at me, I couldn't Look back at his gorgeous eyes. I got too shy, too nervous And too weak in the knees. Even to this day I still have to Force myself to look him in the eyes. It is my favorite thing to do Yet he still makes me nervous. One day I'll look into his eyes and know those eyes are the ones I want to be looking at me when I wake up every morning.

So now I know what it feels like When the right thing isn't right I'm tired of hurting you by loving you And loving you won't stop Imma go cause I don't know what else to do And imma check my phone every 30 seconds But I know you wont text me Imma cry cause its about the only thing I can stop doing And imma love you cause I always have

I'm sorry I'm not better At loving you I look away and my hands Are shy I get so nervous Even after all this Time It has been ten months Since we met And your gaze still makes Me blush And ask, "What?" Day 16 (5-6-14) I listened to and then sang a song called "Wicked Truth" by Michael Vincent. It's really good and I like it a lot. I'm a horrible singer, so I'm glad you weren't here for that. I sometimes scare myself into thinking you'll get bored with me. You'll be annoyed by my laugh or hate the way I take up a lot of room when I sleep or that I sometimes stop caring about how I look. Or that I get quiet and don't wanna talk. Or that I just wanna be alone sometimes. Sorry I'm hard to love.
