day 16.
dear diary.
today started off not the best. i kept having awful thoughts and even, at my darkest, thought of harming myself. but luckily for me, i have the bestest friends ever and the bestest boyfriend ever. when caden couldn't call, one of my other friends would. i love them so much. i'm so happy i have them.
the main event of today was the concert i went to. it was a madison beer concert, and while i don't listen to her music much, concerts are wonderful no matter the artist. she is genuinely so pretty and has the loveliest voice.
there is something so wonderful about going to a concert. a bunch of people coming together to enjoy an artist's songs makes you feel like you're part of something, you know?
near the end of the concert, there was a confetti shower. when me and mom were walking out of the concert, i managed to catch a piece. a bunch of people were fumbling to catch it, but it just... floated down towards me. it's like it was fate.
i'll have something to put in my journal today.
honestly, while today started off awfully, the way it ended makes me grateful for the pain, in a way. without my pain, i won't appreciate the good things as much.
i'm really happy with today.
