30. Work life balance I’ve been putting off what to post as I really didn’t know what to pick. However, in the end I chose one of my embroidered cushions I designed as part of my degree show in 2015. So back to meet the maker, day 30, - work life balance. Currently, I’ve managed to create a pretty good work life balance considering I still work full time in my day job, and also run my business. However, I do feel overwhelmed sometimes as I like to socialise and also spend time with my family and friends. It’s hard trying to juggle all these things. I manage to try and separate it with my routine. Part of me thinks I’m not a routine based person. But I’m starting to realise I really am and trying to embrace it as it gives me the structure I need to keep my work life balance in check 😅 I am admittedly a workaholic but I’m starting to get good at switching off, especially in the evenings. Simple things as watching something on Netflix.
