First Impressions of Tasha’s
I love the new subclasses! Some particular favourites of mine are the genie Warlock patron, the Monk way of the astral self and the phantom Rogue
The variant/optional class features are on the whole pretty disappointing tbh. Some classes like Ranger get a LOT of new stuff which is kind of overwhelming, while classes like Rogue get next to nothing
I’m a fan of the new feats, especially the ones that let you dip into other class features without multiclassing. Why wasn’t this an option from the beginning??
Group patrons are a nice idea but they take up a lot of space in the book considering most groups are never actually going to use them
I wish they’d have been a bit more creative with the new spells, most of them are just “summon ___”
Magic tattoos get a big thumbs up
Thank the gods sidekicks are finally official, another idea that feels like it should have been around from the beginning of 5e
The new environmental hazards for DMs are amazing
