If you’ve felt like you’re destined for a life of fame, or if you’re curious what your fanbase would be like if you were a celebrity, this reading is for you, Bunny! It doesn’t matter if you’re aiming to sell records, own a fashion brand or be a niche internet influencer. Let’s deep dive into the type of supporters you’ll attract when you get there.
This twin pick-a-card reading is in collaboration with my dear friend @theglitchwitchh; on her blog, she reveals to you how you’ll rise to fame! We’ve also both prepared extended readings to pair with our respective readings; aren’t you lucky, Bunny? My extended will reveal your current secret fans lurking in the shadows & why they’re so enthralled by you.
To pick a reading, don’t overthink it; choose the one that draws you in the most. Keep in mind that this reading is intended as playful guidance, not absolute truth. It is mostly approached through a hypothetical lens, but it’ll resonate deeply with those who are destined for a life of stardom. Always use your discernment & take only what resonates.
Love, Matcha ♡

Your fans are deeply inspired by your way of showing up, and they see you as their model beyond superficialities. You’ve been open to the public about what you’ve been through and how you made a name for yourself. The vulnerability you dared to show to the community that supported you through your rise to success sets you apart from others in your field. Your fanbase doesn’t see you as an overnight success, because you’ve been open about how much you had to sacrifice to get where you are now. They admire you for choosing authenticity over people-pleasing. Your fans don’t really care about what the critics have to say about you, because their appreciation for you feels deeply personal; they’re deep in their parasocial feels…
You could be seen as an underground artist in your discipline. You’re someone who goes against the current, a subversive artist who breaks rules, challenges authority and questions societal norms! Your fans mostly choose not to engage with articles or posts that belittle your talent, but they remain extremely judgemental of the ones who do not understand your creative expression. The general public may at times characterize your fanbase as snobbish because your fans tend to look down on people who do not engage with your content.
"Oh, you don’t know about Bunny? That’s kind of surprising because you said you were interested in that discipline, and they’re basically at the forefront of the new groundbreaking movement in the field... But I mean, I get it, it’s probably not for everyone."
You won’t always appreciate this behaviour from your fandom because it will at times feel like they’re ostracizing potential supporters from you. Their behaviour stems from wanting to gatekeep you; they feel that being your supporter makes them seem edgy and cool. I mean, they’re not wrong, though! Still, you’ll at times feel the need to address this. You’ll remind them that your art is for everyone who feels drawn to it! You have an altruistic personality, and this way of interacting with people who may know less about a specific topic doesn’t align with your values.
You’ll be so financially abundant thanks to how much your fans are willing to give to you. Their financial support allows you to create projects independently, without needing to rely on the financial help of shareholders or investors! You’ll at times receive lavish gifts from fans and feel a bit guilty because you’d wish they invested it in something important for themselves. The general public will love how humble you are. This reminds me of the video that was going around of Selena Gomez asking fans to stop sending her gifts on TikTok.
Your fans will be patient and understanding when you need to take a hiatus or cancel an event for your health. Your supporters mirror the authentic, graceful, and kind persona you project in the media. They extend to you the same generosity you encourage them to extend to others. In difficult moments in your personal life, it’ll feel so soothing to know how many people care this deeply about you and your work.

Your fans are close-knit because they’re mostly from the same community. Most of your fandom will share a similar style and belong to the same group. It won’t necessarily be the socio-cultural background you identify with, but for some reason they claim you as their spokesperson. Like how Madonna is so famous with the gays! The energy also reminds me of Sixto Rodriguez, a Detroit musician who flopped in the US in the 70s and continued to live a modest life, completely clueless of the fact that he was a superstar in South Africa! Over there, his music sold more records than Elvis Presley! His art became a symbol of their anti-apartheid movement.
Similar to him, you may find fame in corners of the world you wouldn’t expect. At the start of your career, you may be ignorant of how popular your work is. You won’t witness your fame slowly growing; the realization will hit you in the face all at once. Some of the people reading could rise to fame thanks to a reality TV show, so you won’t know how much the public loves you until you leave the villa or something. For others of you, you may find success on a platform you don’t use. Be careful about people stealing your work. You may get designs stolen and have to call people out to get your due credit!
You’ll be the kind of artist families bicker about at dinner. (Household name vibes!) The older generation will find it difficult to understand your work, and your fans won’t be scared to challenge anybody who tries to belittle you. Your craft goes against the patriarchy; you’ll be breaking gender norms in the way you express yourself. Your art may contain political messaging; you’ll dare to take a stand on societal issues. *However, I see polemic arising from how you behave in interviews because you refuse to let old sexist rhetoric be swept under the rug. Your fans will be so proud of you for this behaviour, and they’ll be the type to fight in the comments for hours. They project themselves onto you, so they see it as standing up for themselves.
Honestly, I don’t think you’ll be the type to interact that much with your fans. You do appreciate their support, but you may find it exhausting to invest in a parasocial relationship. You may decide to make your social media private or to get off social media altogether. Or you’ll only be active when you have something specific to promote. You’ll let the fan accounts do the work for you, Bunny! They’ll, at times, whine about how they feel like you don’t give them enough on the daily. They can’t stay annoyed for long, though. Even though you may not be the one doing TikTok lives, you’ll be the type to sit down and give a heartfelt, two-hour educational interview. Adèle vibes! You’ll constantly remind your fans not to put you on a pedestal. When people talk to you and assume you were born talented, you always take the time to remind them that you’re not so different, that you’re just a normal human being! You tell them that it’s not talent, it’s practice and faith! You’ll be the type to refuse to take pictures with fans but to ignite meaningful conversations with them when you’re in the mood.
For this reading, the devil in reverse and the emperor in reverse came out from two different decks! It’s obvious that you won’t let your fans have a toxic hold on you. You’ll have strong boundaries and won’t often engage in fan service. You're doing it for yourself and for the craft; that's it. You’re glad that they enjoy your work, but you won’t suck up for their validation. Truth is, you never did it for the fame; it’s just a by-product of your rise to success.
I was also heavily thinking of Megan Thee Stallion while doing this reading. Her fans are very vocal about supporting her through difficult times in her life. You’ll have a fandom that vouch for you in the same way. Even though I don’t think you’ll be the one telling them about your personal life, they’ll have your back when private information leaks to the public!
*Pour les francophones, ça me fait penser à quand Anne Dorval a call out Eric Zemmour à «On est pas couché». Je l’aime tant.

I think your craft will become more popular than your likeness, Bunny. It seems like there’ll be a healthy distance with your fans because people will often know about your work without even knowing the face behind it. You may do as horsegiirL, daft punk or Sia and decide to hide your face. You could also own a famous store or brand. The energy reminds me of that video of Marc Jacobs visiting one of his stores and the employee doesn’t recognize him at all. You could have two different communities who don’t really overlap. A product you put out could outshine the popularity of a venture that’s more based on you as a person. For example, you could have a vlog channel and a bikini brand, but the bikini brand will end up garnering the most success. You’ll be able to live a normal lifestyle without paparazzi chasing you! You could even be known only by an alias like Banksy. Your fans won’t have access to much information about you, which will limit the parasocial connection they feel to you. It isn’t fostering toxic obsession like other types of dynamics could!
Even though your supporters won’t discuss your personal life since they don’t have access to it, they’ll engage in intense discussions about your work and how transcendent it is! They’ll feel strongly about you because you brought back interest in a craft that was starting to lose the respect of the general public. Most of your fandom will consist of geeks of the field you’re in. If they’re asked to discuss your craft on the spot, they already have a monologue ready on why you’re a trailblazer! Your fans will be the type to choose you as a topic for a school project. You may be asked to speak at conventions or university classes. Teachers love bringing you up as an example in class. Your quotes are cited endlessly, your work is so inspiring that it’s a source of wisdom. You’re seen as a role model.
The general public will be impacted by you without even knowing it comes from you. If you work in fashion, the early adopters will have an eye on you. It’s interesting how you’re the true trendsetter in the background, yet you don’t attract that much attention yourself. Similar to how Bebe Rexha, Benny Blanco, Frank Ocean & Sia worked on top 100 hits before becoming themselves renowned. The fans that actually know your name will be people who actually did their homework. It’ll feel like their interest in your craft is genuine and grounded in respect. They’ll also be the ride-or-die type. Being a fan of what you do isn’t just a phase for them; it becomes part of their identity. They’ll collect your work and create friendships with other members of the community. They’ll be the type to have discord servers dedicated to you where they discuss news related to your art and the field you’re in. Your fans will be able to find each other in a crowd because they proudly wear your merch, product or aesthetic. It’ll be a conversation starter for them, and they’ll geek out about you for hours.
You won’t have that many followers on your personal social media, so it’ll make it easier to interact with your fans without it being too overwhelming. It’s also possible that you decide to keep it completely private. You’ll most likely have a social media team who handles the fan service and marketing so that you don’t have to stress your nervous system about it! You’ll remain blissfully unaware of most conversations about you on the internet, and it’ll be on purpose. The only opinions that matter to you will be from people you admire in your field!
