“A question like that is always answer the same.” His eyes fall shut as his elbows rest on the table and his chin on his clasped hands. “Even five minutes from now is the future. Take it little by little and before you know it, that thought you had just now is in your past and you’re living in that future you didn’t believe you were ready for.”

Sehun’s quite surprised by the other’s answer to his question. Originally, it had started off as a slanted complaint, but now he’s left wondering, quite curious about time and how it relates to his future.

“Well if you believe what all the lovebirds say, ‘You just have to find the right person and it’ll happen!’..” She trailed off, almost grumbling at the thought of all the lovey dovey couples she’s seen lately. She was a little jealous of them all, but she wouldn’t ever admit it. Letting out a soft sigh as she stretched her neck slightly before continuing, “I’ve got age against me in that area, but I don’t see why you haven’t, you look young, and you’re fit.. I’m sure you’ll find someone~” She nodded with a smile at the other, trying to bring back a lighter mood.

A lengthy chortle came from the disheveled man. His usually neat hair in a disarray while he carried his blazer in a clenched fist. If anything it looked like he had been rolling around the ground and with closer inspection he had a bloody lip and bruised cheek. “I was drinking just fine but a customer’s son was upset with me. He said his mother came to see me and took him out of the will.” His laughter in that moment only suited to make him look crazy now. “I only told her the truth. Her son will gamble every penny away and make his children suffer. He wasn’t very happy with honesty.”
