but I would be a cute worm and I could hang out in your pocket all day so you'd never be lonely!!!

but you'll be squiggling around in my pocket... ew.. ('squints)  the thought of it ... ('holds hand dramatically while covering his mouth and fake gagging.)

It had taken every ounce of self control to leave that place, but Ben’s voice had drawn her out of that anger enough to make that quick decision. She had turned away, found herself on a path towards the Outer Rim. She hadn’t even been completely aware of where she was going until they fell out of hyperspace and sped past the edge of the system.

It wasn’t a place she’d ever been to, but it was a name she recognized from the stories. It would have to do.

Rey weaved through the trees. She brought down the Whisper on a small clearing, and burst out of the cockpit as Ben’s ship landed closely behind hers.

She breathed in the fresh air and felt some of that tension lift slowly before she could finally appreciate the height of the trees around her. That helped some more.

She heard his footsteps approaching and turned slightly, waving a hand out inf front of her, dismissing the previous burst of rage that had filled her.

Ayeon checks her phone for the umpteenth time. The name of the place she’s looking for is ingrained in her memory by this point, but the directions there still pose somewhat of a problem for her. Google Maps is helping somewhat, but she can tell her guide dog is getting more and more antsy every time they step to the side so that Ayeon can check for directions again. She knows she should just have asked one of her colleagues or friends to come with to the bakery her roommate had recommended, but she of course had to be stubborn and find her way herself.

After what feels like a small infinity and the help of a couple of kind strangers, she finds herself entering the bakery, her foul mood and the regret of trying to get to the place instantly lighting up when the smell of freshly baked goods finds its way to the small individual. Although she still finds herself unsure of how to act next due to being unfamiliar and not knowing if she’s to grab a number before being helped, she stays a bit to the back, the feeling of her dog’s flank against her leg acting as a beacon of hope.
