Lets blaze up!
DM: Goblin 1 is going to shoot at Juniper because you attacked the only other goblin on his crew. He misses. And now he's going to use a bonus action to hide behind the rail. And he's horribly obvious. Over to you, Juniper.
Marijn (playing Juniper): I'm also going to hide so I can get combat advantage. That's a 21.
DM: Yeah, you feel hidden.
Marijn: I throw another psychic blade at Goblin 2 with combat advantage. 22 to hit?
DM: Roll damage.
Marijn: With sneak attack! 13 damage.
DM: Cool. You see Juni crouch down, flick the wrist. Nothing for a second, and then this goblin's brain explodes.
Andy (playing Glupbub): Beautiful.
Marijn: Talofa!
May is Asian American/Pacific Islander Heritage Month! The National Marine Sanctuary System has a long history of working closely with communities in American Samoa and Hawai‘i, and all month we'll be featuring information and stories about these collaborations.
Today, say talofa–hello–to National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa! The phrase Fa‘a Samoa is often heard in American Samoa and refers to the traditional Samoan way of life. It is the foundation of Polynesia’s oldest culture, dating back about 3,000 years. Just like Fa‘a Samoa places great importance on the collective rather than the individual, the sanctuary is a hub of collaboration, striving together to preserve and protect our special underwater treasures.

DM: You make it back to your boat.
Tati (playing Lumi): *happily* The Talofa?
DM: Yes, the Talofa.
M (playing Blazar): *sighs*
DM: Do you want to go back to the port town you started at, or head to another island?
Adam (playing Griz): Did we hear any other stories about treasure?
DM: No. Your Streetwise check was rubbish.
Adam: Let's go back, then. We can get some tea.
Tati: I love that no matter what character you play, they love tea.
DM: So you have been travelling together as a party for a few months. You own a boat and you can decide what to call it.
Lyra (playing Faith): The Prince Jean. Or rather, the Prince Jean II.
M (playing Blazar): The Seafaring Choad.
Marijn (playing Juniper): The Fisherman's Friend.
M: Chunderbucket. Ol' Reliable II.
Lyra: The Dicey Bucket.
Tati (playing Lumi): Call it Talofa.
Adam (playing Griz): Yes.
DM: YES.
M: ...I'm mad cause that's it now. That's its name.
