290: I’m sure everyone will be fine but this volume cover is hillarious considering… Haru and Elie are alive and well, Lets a dragon and likely dead, Julia’s badly injured, Belnika is likely dead, Ruby is kind of injured, Griff is… sadly alive… and Hamrio is trying to mimic Chad here…

Final battle time… it also seems like Mashima really liked the aesthetics of this final battle so he reused it in the next series… I mean to be fair it is cool (especially because here it reminds me a lot about XC1)

Unironically Griff should have died back in the iconic Julius cutting him in half scene… like straight up that’s where he peaked… and yet here we are where when he sees a potentially dead friend of his he comments on her underwear being visible… (I don’t fully buy Belnikia and maaaaay Niebel being dead…but still….) WHYYY?
