jasperffordeMy new book, Early Riser, explained, in 20 pictures. 11: The Wyncarnis The cafe Wincarnis is located here in Talgarth, although the interior is modelled on the Strand Cafe just round the corner. In years gone by the tourist office had a ‘Wincarnis Tonics’ enamel sign between the windows. Sadly removed in the eighties, it lives on in ‘Early Riser’. Note in picture rare 14C Welsh tower house behind shop. Not featured in my book but a point of interest when you visit. A trip to Pwl-y-Wrach waterfall is also in order. #visittalgarth #visitwales 'Early Riser' is published on the 2nd August 2018.
