There's a Youtube channel I watch sometimes called Curious Archive. It's run by a cute animated robot character called Talebot and the channel is about various things in stories - just all about stories. It's about how we use specific settings and concepts in stories, as well, as sometimes, mythical creatures. Typically focuses on fantasy, science fiction and horror. CA recently did a show that was titled "Angels for the Modern Age" - all about how people are creating an angel mythology online for secular and mundane things - a Heritage Post from here on tumblr was cited (the one about various masked / helmeted professions and how artists responded by turning astronauts and beekeepers into "angels"). Also cited was that post about an electrical pole with many different wires coming out of it being seen as an "angel"). Of course, in the comments section, because the piece of fiction was not mentioned, I brought up Trigun, gave a rough description of it, and concluded: "In Trigun, we imprisoned angels in giant light bulbs and make them run our refrigerators." I happen to like my description of Plants. Is it apt?
