once upon a time i did!!!!!!! i picked up a fair bit as a kid. my dad had worked there recently & my grandma knew it (this is a longer story. the family drama is russo-ottoman war tier. there are kidnappings and exiles) so they’d practice with each other and i thought it was sooooo cool they had a secret language. & i thought the language sounded cool so i demanded to be included.

and then from there my dad got VERYYYY enthusiastic abt making me watch lots of soviet and post soviet film. i picked up a lot just with that tbh. i tried to sit down and properly study when i was in high school but then i had to pick up spanish at school and doubling up just gave me a headache so i stopped and now………. 10+ years later there is very little left except point at kitty and say котечка.

you ever go into a full blown spiral at 2 in the morning because you saw a bug and then lost it when it fell off the wall and so you panic vacuum your room (not very well because you have stuff on the floor) and then dab peppermint oil around your room because apparently bugs don’t like that but then you realize after you do this and your entire room smells like peppermint that it’s toxic to cats but you never let your cats in your room so they should be fine but what if the smell suddenly goes through the door and then they can smell it and they get sick because you fucking put raw peppermint oil dabbed around your room but you only did that because a fuckass bug decided to appear then disappear at two am?
