These Taco Burgers with Tomatillo Salsa are a tasty mix of traditional burgers and tasty taco ingredients. The tomatillo salsa gives the burgers a tangy kick that makes them a hit at any party.
Ingredients: 1 pound ground beef. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced bell peppers. 1 packet taco seasoning mix. 4 hamburger buns. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup sour cream. 1/2 cup tomatillo salsa. 1/4 cup sliced black olives. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine the ground beef, diced onions, diced bell peppers, and taco seasoning mix. Mix well and form into 4 burger patties. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for a minute or until they're lightly browned. To assemble the burgers, place a burger patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top each patty with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. Drizzle tomatillo salsa over the toppings and sprinkle with sliced black olives and chopped cilantro. Place the top half of the bun on each burger, and serve hot.
