These Lemon Garlic Tuna Burgers are a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional beef burgers. Packed with flavor from lemon zest, garlic, and fresh parsley, they are perfect for a light and satisfying meal. The zesty mayo-mustard sauce adds a tangy kick to every bite.
Ingredients: 2 cans of tuna, drained. 1/4 cup breadcrumbs. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 lemon, zest and juice. 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped. 1 egg. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish. Mayonnaise and Dijon mustard for sauce.
Instructions: In a bowl, combine the drained tuna, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, lemon zest, fresh parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix the ingredients until well combined. Form the mixture into 4 burger patties. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the grates. Grill the tuna burgers for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through and have grill marks. While the burgers are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill until they are lightly browned. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to create a sauce. Assemble the burgers by placing a tuna patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with lettuce and tomato slices, and drizzling with the mayo-mustard sauce. Cover with the top bun halves and serve your Lemon Garlic Tuna Burgers hot.
