Loki uses the archaic and very formal version of big brother, “aniue” (which, from my very limited understanding, is a really cool choice that fits well with Asgard’s old-school royalty vibe), and Thor calls Loki “ototo” (little brother).

Steve took the hammer and all the stones back. That was the whole point of the Ancient One being initially reluctant to hand over the Time Stone. Bruce had to promise her that they’d put everything back where they found it once they’d fixed the Snap. So unless 2014 Thor was actively wielding Mjolnir when our Thor borrowed it, he wouldn’t even have noticed it was gone before it was put back.

Ooh, interesting. This hypothetical (but very plausible) discussion of Thanos and what to do if he showed up is not something I incorporated into my own Loki theory fic, and now I kinda wish I had. And I definitely agree that it's silly to assume the coronation scene and mid-credits scenes were mere hours apart. I've been operating on the idea that they were on that ship for weeks before getting attacked.
