I personally do hc that Syringeon is a big portion of the reason Banban is so messed up regarding sex and sexuality. (Additionally, I do understand the inherent irony in having Flumbo, a character who was locked in a closet since he was a child, be more accepting with himself regarding kinks. But personally I think it's just because Flumbo never learned shame. I mean. He's giving "middle schooler who watched too much anime" vibes in gobb 8, that guy did not learn shame and genuinely good for him.)

But yeah, I could easily imagine Syringeon's actions leading to Banban experiencing shame (comments about how Banban is "taking too much time" whenever he takes longer to finish, annoyance if Banban ever expresses a disinterest in sex/a specific sexual activity, outright turning down Banban until Syringeon wants to get off, refusing to let Banban have control during sex, maybe even implying Banban is gross/strange for his kinks, etc) to the point where I could easily see Banban having such a negative relationship with his own sexual desires that the only way he can connect with them is if he feels like he's punishing someone with them. Because sex for him has only been used as a method to extort control over him, so he's never learned what else it could be.

I imagine he'd even outright think people are lying if they said they had sex "for fun", because he can't imagine sex being fun. It feels good, but that's it. The only "fun" part about sex could be if you were the one in control, and he's never been on that side.
