Nor am I a fan of MegaOP all that much because of the differing ideology between the two.

In every TF Media, Megatron and Optimus rarely have similar ideology. And with the amount of bad blood between the two factions and them being the leaders of said factions...I can't comfortably pair the two together.

Fuck even in IDW when the war ends, both have changed so much from where they started that they have basically swapped scripts. With Optimus not really caring about the Rights of All Sentient beings and basically conquering Earth and Megatron becoming an Autobot. (Yeah still throws me for a loop that plot twist) That I don't feel comfortable pairing the two together.

Though pairing across TF Media could possibly work: Say IDW Megatron with either TFP Optimus or G1 Optimus. Because IDW Megatron after the war is basically a tired cranky grandpa who just wants Peace and TFP and G1 Optimus are very different from Post-War IDW Optimus as they still believe in Peace and Rights of All Sentient beings and would mostly get along with a calmer and more peace minded Megatron. But that's about it for this pairing.

JazzProwl

The Third and Second in command of the Autobots.

This is one of my fav Pairings hands down. I love Jazz and Prowl no matter the media. Especially their dynamic through the various medias. Prowl is so logical and pragmatic and Jazz is so chaotic and goes with the flow type of mech, they just work well. Prowl balances Jazz out and vice versa.

Honestly wish Prowl was present more in other media such as Bayverse and TFP because I felt that Jazz would benefit from having Prowl there with him. Plus Prowl is one of my favorite characters okay.

Let's see this is getting kinda long so one more and then I'll add more if yal want it.

Sympatico- aka Brainstorm/Perceptor

I honestly have mixed feelings about this pairing. I love and Hate it. Mostly due to the fact that Perceptor doesn't even start recuperating Brainstorm's feelings in canon til after Brainstorm nearly wrecks the entire fucking timeline trying to go back in time to kill Megatron and ends up causing a HUGE shift in the time stream to a Functionalist Ruling Timeline. (Yeah who knew Megatron was such an Important Factor to the Timeline! EVERYONE BRAINSTORM! EVERYONE KNEW!)

Like Brainstorm in canon is Obsessed with Perceptor to the point all his microscopes look scarily similar to Perceptor's Alt Mode. Plus Perceptor is so dismissive of Brainstorm before the Time Jump, that you could honestly say that Percy would rather be gouged by a rusty spork then be in the same room as the flier.

And this is one of my reasons to not really like the pairing cause its borderline unhealthy due to these factors. The two scientists are so out of sync in the communications and understanding of each other department that it's hard to see them together.
