What is his fascination with your sleep shorts? ‘Can I come in?’ He asks and your sleepy brain wonders if he’s like a vampire. If he needs permission to enter your home. “Why?”

• Why are you so surly? Maybe humans are irritable upon waking? Lifting his datapad, he makes a note about possible aggression in the morning. “I’m trying to create a file for your species to submit to the registry and I’d like to be thorough,” he murmurs as he covertly angles the datapad to get an image of you in those strange coverings. “I’ve been tracking your heat signature through the walls, but it’s hard to see what you’re actually doing,” he adds and your expression blanks. ‘You’re spying on me?’
