"You call it a near-death experience, I call it a vibe check from god"
OCCUPATION: Ghost Harassers Co-Host (International Thief)
SURVIVAL SKILL: Lock picking, pick pocketing, good at thievery but really none of that helps here.
MAGICAL SKILL: Medical Marvel Does not believe in that kind of stuff, assumes the crash must have somehow actually fixed his back issues or something. There's got to be a reason for it.
REASON FOR BEING ON FLIGHT 2015: After filming an episode in the Biltmore Hotel, its time to film an episode in 50 Berkeley Square, London!
PERSONAL ITEM: A thermal camera with 83% battery life
PERSON OF SCIENCE/FAITH: Person of science. That's his whole shtick on the show, he's the skeptical nonbeliever, and he's holding that here. There's an explanation for it all… he just hasn't figured it out yet.
John has never believed in the supernatural, which was part of what made his and Mary's dynamic so fun for audiences. He was an instigator to the ghost they would hunt and a person for Boo to try to convince. The other reason they worked so well together?
They both knew a good opportunity when they saw one.
Sometimes it's almost funny, filming in the same places you rob, and nobody still catching on. In fact, more places just ask you to come around for a tour! These small town "haunted" tourist traps want the press. And John and Mary want the 200 year old jewelry box kept in a display case.
They haven't been caught before, and now he thinks maybe they never will! But not for the reason he would've hoped.
When the plane crashed, John was tossed around pretty bad by the wreckage. Some might say it was a miracle he survived, but he'd say it was just luck. The weirdest part though? His chronic pain is gone. Maybe it got tweaked into the right place in a way a doctor or chiropractor never could. Mary seems to think its something about this island. But John isn't convinced.
Still though, there are some strange things happening that aren't turning him into a believer, but are making him want to investigate this place even more
