'I remember we were around the campfire at Sutch. One of the boys asked Alesander about his homeland, and I just about rolled my eyes. But then Alesander started talking about the muggy wet climate, the mosquitoes, the Ayleid ruins, how squelchy the mud of the marshlands were. Then he started talking about Zenithar's Abbey and swimming in the Niben, and we realised he was just talking about County Leyawiin. I never laughed so hard when he smirked at us.'
-- Legionnaire Ariella Tacitus, when asked about her time serving with Alesander
Spoilers for the side quest in Sutch
FUCKS SAKE DUDE. What’s the point of being a member of the Ravenwatch if I can’t even send newly turned vampires their way? Fennorian is IN West Weald. He would help Tham. LITERALLY WHY CAN I NOT HELP THIS GUY? Sure he has Maerenah, but it should still be an option, they even sound like they’re struggling! Something I can bring up. The main bad guy was even a blood knight. Like COME ON there’s so many crumbs but nothing to go on.
Like I’m extremely glad we get to chase down remnants of the Gray Host. This was a FANTASTIC little Easter egg. But I can’t even help these guys? That just sucks man.
Don’t even get me started on the mentioned “cure”
Sutch
Did You Know: In an unused video called "CreditsMenu.bik" that shipped with copies of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you can briefly see an additional city west of Kvatch called Sutch? Sadly, the city itself was cut, and only a ruined fort was left in its place.

The second largest city in County Anvil, the town of Sutch can be found just north of the Gold Coast in the Gilded Hills region, uniquely situated in the middle of a ravine and connected by river to the Abecean Sea and the trade post of Seppaki. Sitting on the shores of Lake Oloman, Sutch is a center of industry for the region, with access to the widespread salt industry and associated mines that can be found all around Lake Oloman, as well as the nearby vineyards of the Talan Estate. Aside from the town of Sutch and the village of Seppaki, a number of farmsteads and ruins dot the region, including the Ivrol Estate just to the south which plays a role in the local salt industry, and a Blood Dome Temple to the north, a sacred site where Tiber Septim is said to have shed blood in battle. The region of Sutch is a dramatic and exciting landscape, home to numerous sights and places to visit, but while this area is largely exterior complete, it won't be released to the public for probably a few years. Today for our 10th episode of Cities of Cyrodiil, we're taking a look at another three Oblivion town mods to help populate the decidedly underpopulated countryside of the Imperial Province, but today we're actually going to focus on the various different Sutch mods out there. Each of today's mods adds the famed, yet mysteriously absent city of Sutch to the game, each with their own unique vision and take on how the city should look. From smaller villages to more massive cities, we'll be taking a look at each version of Sutch side by side in today's 10th episode!

It's a WILD, unlikely, and far-fetched consideration, but there's a cut city from Oblivion called Sutch, right? If you boot up Oblivion right now, the title screen will show it on the map back-drop and everything, but the only mention it gets in-game is the dilapidated Fort Sutch. What if we somehow got to visit Sutch in ES6? Through Daedric shenanigans, it's more than possible the city is really there, right were it should be, but inaccessible unless certain criteria is met. Now, we all speculate that ES6 is going to be in Hammerfell or High Rock or both, but that's not really an issue with a game involving demon princes and teleportation magic.
I just think it'd be a fun quest to go gather things up for a mysterious portal or something only to pop out on the other side like: "Oh, hi, you're in Sutch, Cryodiil. Yeah, we had a seer. Yeah, they predicted things were gonna go real south back in the day. Yeah, we panicked and signed our city over to the highest bidder to try to avoid it. Yeah, now we get people like you in on occasion who also met [insert daedric prince] and he/she/they/it thinks it's a bit of a giggle to remind us we're trapped here forever, never to be able to see the rest of Tamriel again... Can you deliver this loaf of bread to my cousin for me? That's loads more helpful than trying to undo the curse. Thanks, Random-Person-Sent-to-Taunt-Us, I appreciate the leg work."
