The $7.5 billion surveillance company Flock Safety is operating in 49 states and over 5,000 communities, but the residents of Scarsdale, NY,
Siefe, an expert in general surveillance, explained what systems like Flock are doing in the U.S., “we're creating that database so that we can always do that for anyone, that you're constantly tracking people's movements. You have that system in place so that you don't need to articulate the suspicion before you're gathering that on someone, before you're actually trying to tag someone with wrongdoing. When you have that system there, all someone has to do is say, I don't like that person. And then you've got that surveillance already established.” As Scarsdale resident Josh Frankel put it to Drop Site, “The way I see it, it is not a matter of if this data will be abused and misused, only a matter of when and by whom.”
Lebanon has become a laboratory for a new age of warfare.
The drones that hover over the skies of Lebanon operate in the same way as those deployed in Gaza and the West Bank. They collect large swathes of data — Wi-Fi, IP addresses, phone signals — which are then organized by AI. This allows the Israeli military to track behavioral patterns of potential targets and conduct strikes based on that intelligence.
Google has developed face-scanning technology that would block children from accessing adult websites ahead of a crackdown on online porn.
So, this is scary as hell, Google's developing tech to scan your face as a form of age identification, and it's yet another reason why we need to stop the various bad internet bills like EARN IT, STOP CSAM, and especially KOSA.
Because, that's why they're doing this, and that sort of invasive face scanning is what everybody's been warning people they're going to do if they pass, so the fact they're running up to push it through should alarm everyone.
And, as of this posting on 12/27/2023, it's been noted that Chuck Schumer wants to try and start pushing these bills through as soon as the new year starts, and some whisperings have been made even of all these bad bills being merged under STOP CSAM into one deadly super-bill.
So, if you live in the US call your senators, and even if you don't please boost this, we need to stop this now.
They are investigating how to enforce the act, or they are realizing it does not work. Yet remember andy burnham wants this to be possible. It is more than likely they are trying to "refine" the restrictions and penalties. Yet one thing to acknowledge, one very good thing to note, it is being questioned which can lead to rebelling against the act. Yet as always, please tell your friends, family, neighbors and so on. Then have them mention along the lines of "I will not give my support and will not give my vote if you are in favor of any kids act, verification law, and other monitoring esc law that is under the guise of "safety" " during the call, email, or letter to your senator/representative. Also guide them to petitions against these laws. The more you help your friends, family, extended family and neighbors be technologically aware, the better it is to maintain basic privacy rights as a person. I know it will be tedious as hell, yet every reblog/sharing links among people online. We also have to inform the people in our local area in person as much as we can.
Also gonna put this here too for good measure. This is about the tv giants of the u.k. wanting to put their mainstream tv propaganda in the forefront now matter how many times you tell yt to stop showing them to you. Deadline is August 31st. Also we have to stroke yt's ego here since the u.k. government is the one hosting the questions.

Thank you for your time. Stay safe, stay alert, stay free.
Flock records:
where you go
stores it in a searchable database
shares it across agencies
and lets police decide later why they were interested in you
But they want you to believe the real danger is the people mapping the cameras.
Mass surveillance has a hell of a PR team.
Why “your plate is visible in public” doesn’t justify storing everyone’s movements in a searchable database

A City’s Battle Over Flock: the City Council, the Mayor, and the Struggle Against Surveillance
TROY, NEW YORK – Since April 1, Troy, New York has been in a state of emergency declared by its mayor, Carmella Mantello. The emergency in question is not a natural disaster, nor is it a wave of violence, or a mass uprising: it is the City Council’s refusal to approve funds for the city’s Flock contract, which renewed automatically only days after the Council decided to table their vote on the…
