If youâre still doing the ship headcanons, can you do Joe x Louis?
Iâm totally normal about them
Most certainly! And @takoluka-magurofever also requested them, so tagging you as well! Yep, Joe/Louis was the other couple besides Zoevid that got requested twice, which, I'll be honest, actually surprised me a bit! But anyways, onto the headcanons!
At least they're together now in, uh....not heaven.
If they lived together, they'd certainly need more than one bathroom because Louis would take FOREVER to get ready in the morning (mostly because he's doing his hair). His hands would be covered in products as he meticulously curled his hair, and if they only had one bathroom, Joe would be knocking on the door, begging for Louis to let him use the restroom before he went to work. Louis would say, "Hang on, I'm almost done" (he's been saying that for the past 40 minutes).
They'd be so chatty when watching movies together, everything from drama to comedy to romance to action to suspense, to literally whatever. They'd flop on their couch, commenting on what they're watching, even if they'd dislike other people commenting when watching stuff with them. But with the two of them, it's fine.
Unrelated note: It would suck to watch something with Bateman, especially as he'd probably mostly like really violent films and laugh really loudly if he found something amusing.
I was joking around with two of my friends, and one of them misread something I typed as "Louis has a Costco membership," and we came up with the idea that he does indeed have one. Rozetta, Julia, and Bateman steal it whenever they want to go the store to buy whatever, but Joe always asks nicely first, and he and Louis go to the store to snack on samples and buy whatever they need.
Joe felt incredibly guilty that he wasn't able to break Louis out of prison in time, even though he tried to focus on keeping the rest of his friends alive in Newmark to distract himself from his grief...but that didn't stop him from having nightmares that manifested from his fear, guilt, grief, everything, nightmares that got worse throughout Newmark to the point where he was indeed ready to die by the end of Blaze of Glory.
You know how Joe was canonically the only person Louis told that the neohumans were a hivemind who were biologically compelled to have absolute loyalty to their leader? I headcanon Louis only told Joe this is because, one, not only did Louis trust Joe the most out of everyone in Ad Astra, but also because Louis did NOT trust Bateman, the only other member of AA not in prison when he found out, with said information, thinking Bateman would try to take control of the army and do something crazy/violent/impulsive with the neohumans if he could, and both Louis and Joe were afraid that if Rozetta and Julia were told about the biological loyalty, they wouldn't want to keep a secret from Bateman.
In the period between Denise causing the blackout to stop Louis from sending the message about Plan Supernova going "wrong" to the rest of Ad Astra and Louis being arrested, when Louis was panicking, knowing he was being hunted by Denise, he was scared enough that he wanted to spend his nights with Joe for safety, not wanting to be alone in his home. (Louis might've begged Bateman for shelter at his large, secure, busy estate, but Bateman would probably laugh him off and tell him to man up/that he was panicking about nothing/vastly overestimating the threat Denise posed.) However, Louis was extremely torn about sheltering with Joe, not wanting to make Joe a primary target of Denise as well.
Related to the above, when Louis, Joe, and Bateman were meeting after Louis broke into the dome and where Louis was clearly freaking out, Bateman was openly indifferent and apathetic to Louis' fear. Joe was trying to calm Louis down, frustrated by Bateman's complete lack of empathy. (Yeah, that's what happens when you "befriend" a violent sociopath, dude.)
After Louis murdered Zoe and drove home to change out of his bloody clothing, he tried to call Joe multiple times. When Joe was finally able to answer his phone, Louis basically had a panic attack over the phone, saying how badly he'd screwed up in panicking/losing his temper and killing Zoe, aka the only person they could've used to learn more about the serum, and how they now had no good way to learn about the effects of the serum and fight against Denise, and how Louis was terrified of being either arrested by the police or murdered by Denise. Joe, with much difficulty, managed to calm Louis down, saying that Louis needed to change and go to work where he'd be safe in public, and as soon as Joe could, he'd help Louis escape to either their secret hideout or make Bateman hide him before anyone could hunt him down, but, well, we know what happened to Louis instead.
Speaking of...Joe learned of Louis' death at work in excruciating detail. Mandy/Joe's deputy mayor (weird that we never met them, but I assume he had one?? Where tf were they during all this nonsense lmao) told him there'd been a violent murder at the prison. Joe froze, getting a suddenly horrible gut feeling, but managed to ask, who, what happened? You can probably imagine how horrified he was when he learned the prisoner's name and how he died: limbs blown off in a huge explosion, thrown against a wall, severely burned, blood everywhere, clearly died in agony and terror. Joe's mask slipped for just a moment, enough that the bearer of bad news asked if he was alright. Joe forced a smile, saying it was just disturbing news, before dismissing the person from his office and then having a bit of a breakdown at his desk, before calling up Bateman, saying they needed to get Rozetta and Julia out of prison ASAP before they were murdered, even if it meant taking the serum.
Shoot, okay. That was multiple angsts in a row. Now for a lighthearted one. I was joking with @astra-galaxie and said Louis would be the Daphne of Ad Astra, in the sense that he would be constantly getting kidnapped. I added that he'd be a very annoying hostage, either always screaming or threatening to sue his abductors/expose their secrets on CCN, and Astra said that the real reason Rozetta didn't want the members of Ad Astra to interact in public was to prevent anyone from thinking Louis was important enough to Joe to abduct, and then said that the abductors would drop Louis off at Joe's house due to being extremely annoyed by Louis. That inspired me to sketch this at work:
Louis is a complainer, always whining about something, such as annoying people at work and annoying people he has to interview. I can imagine him flopped on a coach, legs hanging off the side, as Joe sits next to him, nodding along and listening, because Joe is a good listener and advice-giver.
And finally, Louis, for the life of him, cannot open jars. He is always asking Joe for help to do so.
And that's a wrap! I hope you enjoyed these, both of you! I actually have a comic regarding one of these headcanons cooking (and almost done), so stay tuned for that....

Hey shark, hope this doesnât come off as strange or trying to rush you, but is it possible for you to give in the remaining parts of the Leverage one shot? The story got me so invested that I want to know wha the next part is.
Hey!
First, I want to apologize for barely writing anything for the past few months. I'm currently getting a masters degree, and that's kept me very, very busy, and unfortunately, after hours of homework involving a lot of reading, writing, and other stuff, my desire to write, even if creatively, is pretty low.
But luckily, I looked in my drafts and found I actually had completed the second part of this mini series! I just never proofread and published it, but luckily I've got some time, so yes, I have the second part of Leverage right here! I'll also drop the link to the first part here since it's been months.
TW for torture below the cut. I don't know how graphic it is, there's not very much blood and gore, but it can still be seen as disturbing. There is some threatened and implied fingernail trauma, but spoiler alert, it doesn't actually happen on-screen. But still, this is dark and VERY angsty.
Walter did not give even a moment of hesitation.
The second Denise gave her order, Walter reached for Louis, seizing him by the back of his shirt, and threw him to the ground. Louis and Joe seemed to find their voices at the same time, as both of them cried, âWait!â as Walter grabbed one of Louisâ wrists, made easier by the fact that Louis was shielding his hands in front of his face.Â
âWatch,â Denise said, sadism clear in her delighted tone, as she yanked up on Joeâs hair to force him to look as Walter made an abrupt, violent, twisting movement with Louisâ wrist.
A horrible, wet pop sounded through the stagnant air, and Louis was suddenly screaming as Walter released Louisâ now--broken? Dislocated? wrist, letting it fall onto Louisâ chest.Â
The sound of Louisâ screams of pain cut through Joe like a knife, as he struggled to wrench his head out of Deniseâs fingers tangled in his hair. âStop! Leave him alone! Fine, yes, we have a hideout!âÂ
âCare to share the location of said hideout?â Denise said, letting go of his hair and turning back around to Joe as Louisâ screams devolved into pained moans.Â
âI told you, Iâm not going to sell out my friends!â
âWell, then watch this one get tortured,â Denise said, gesturing to Walter. âCarry on.â
âStop!â Louis begged, struggling to crawl away from Walter. âLeave us alone!âÂ
Louis accidentally backed into the woman with the dead sister, who shoved Louis away from her with her foot, looking at him like he was something unpleasant sheâd found at the bottom of her shoe. Walter grabbed his hair and dragged him back in front of Joe, who was struggling to free himself from his restraints without any luck.Â
âYou arenât freeing yourself from those ropes, Mayor,â Denise said, casually leaning against Joeâs chair. âThereâs only one thing to do to help himâŚâ
Joe closed his eyes, but, of course, he still heard the sound of Louisâ struggling, hyperventilating, then a different but still nauseating noise--this time, a loud crack--followed by Louis once more screaming. Joeâs eyes were burning, but he couldnât let Denise see him cry.Â
What do I do? He couldnât sell out his friends, doing so would be an almost certain death sentence for them. He loved them, even Christian, heâd desperately missed all three of them when theyâd been in prison. Heâd just gotten them back, he couldnât betray them now, he couldnât lose them, but another one of his friends was in front of him now, suffering, being tortured, because Joe wasnât talking, and because Joe had gotten himself captured trying to help him, and because Joe hadnât helped him before heâd gotten kidnapped in the first place. He couldnât lose Louis, either.
Louisâ screams had turned into sobs, and Joe opened his eyes. Both of Louisâ wrists were broken now. There was bone sticking out of the wrist that had just been snapped, and Joeâs nausea grew even more intense, as he dry heaved, barely preventing himself from actually being sick.
âOur hideoutâs in Money Mile,â Joe lied, his eyes burning. âItâs--itâs in a building near the movie premiere place where Ronald Rooney was shot.â His mouth was moving at its own pace, barely having time to think about what he was saying, blurting the first things that were coming to his mind. He wouldnât have made it as a politician if he wasnât good at lying quickly. âOff of Wexwood and Williams.â
âAlright then,â Denise said, and a small flicker of hope lit in his chest as he tried to catch Louisâ eyes, trying to tell him everything would be fine, theyâd get out of this prison. âWalter, Corine. Grab Leroux and come with me.â
âWait! I said where the hideout was!â Joe said as Walter and the dead-sister woman, Corine, evidently, yanked Louis up by his arms, jostling his wrists enough that Louis let out a whimper of pain. âWhere are you taking him?â
âTo your hideout,â Denise said. âIâm not stupid. I know how well you can lie, and, well, that confession seemed a little too easy. We are going to take Leroux with us, and if we realize you were lying, then Walter will snap his neck and return to throw his corpse at your feet.â
âNo!â Joe said. âNo, please donât, I--I--â
âYou were lying?âÂ
âI--â His vision was blurring, as he rapidly blinked back his tears.Â
Walter grabbed one of Louisâ broken wrists, squeezing it, Louis screamed, tears streaming from his eyes, as Joe said, âAlright, fine! Yes! Itâs not there!â
âContinue, Walter,â Denise said, walking back to Joeâs chair, tossing her hair over her shoulder.Â
Walter wrapped his fingers in Louisâ hair, dragging him back towards Joe, throwing him at Joeâs feet, as Denise said, âAre you going to give me the correct information now, Mayor?â
âJoe,â Louis said, choking through his sobs. âJoe--Joe--Iâm so sorry.â He had sat up, his eyes staring feverishly at Joe. âI told her--Iâm so sorry. Iâm sorry. I was scared they were going to kill you, I tried to hold out, but on the fifth one, I couldnât, I just wanted it to stop!â He broke eye contact with Joe, instead crying on his shoes. âIâm sorry, Iâm sorry, I need to make it up to you, donât tell her, please, please--â
âLouis!â Joe said, trying to get Louis to look at him again. âLouis, what are you talking about?â
âIâm curious, too, Louis,â Denise said innocently, kneeling next to Louis and yanking his head up, forcing him to look at Joe. âWhat did you tell me?â
âWhat did you do to him?â Joe said to Denise, feeling a sort of horror that he didnât think he was capable of, not to mention hatred. Joe didnât really hate anyone, think they were beneath him or needed to be eliminated, sure, but none of that came from a place of hatred, more of practicality, logic, or necessary ruthlessness because the natural order saw him and his friends at the top of the food chain, so to speak, but he wanted nothing more than to turn Deniseâs own torture back on her.Â
âThe question is, Warren, what he did to you. As you were saying, Leroux?â
âIâm sorry,â Louis sobbed, grime mixing with the tears running down his face. âI--I tried to not say anything, but it hurt, I just wanted it to stop--I told her that Iâd told you about the neohumans--Iâm sorry!â he suddenly screamed, ripping his hair out of Deniseâs grip and jumping to his feet. He leapt towards Joe, flinging his arms around him, embracing him, seeming to ignore the pain from his broken wrists in his adrenaline burst, as he clung to Joe, his tears soaking Joeâs blazer as he repeated, âIâm sorryIâmsorryIâmsorryIâmsorryIâmsorry--â
âLouis,â Joe said, straining against his ropes, wishing so desperately that his hands were free so he could hold Louis, embrace him, and help him calm down. âLouis, Iâm not mad at you, you were being tortured--â
Louis didnât seem to be able to hear him as he kept apologizing, shaking, he had grown so thin within just the span of a few days, had Denise fed him at all? If only Joe had done a better job helping Louis after Louis returned from the dome, if only he hadnât left Louis alone--
Louis cried out as he was yanked from Joe and thrown to the ground by Walter, violently shaking, as Denise told Walter to continue.
Louisâ adrenaline rush seemed to have faded as Walter grabbed one of his feet, Joe closed his eyes, but Denise had noticed. She grabbed his face, forcing open his eyes, in time for him to see Walter violently twist Louisâ ankle. Louis didnât seem to have the energy to scream, as he only sobbed harder as his mangled foot and ankle fell to the floor.Â
âAm I feeling tears, Mayor?â Denise said with amusement.
She was right. Tears had finally fallen from his eyes, and while he vaguely thought that he should be embarrassed by finally crying in front of her, his potential humiliation was being cancelled out by his desperation to save Louis. âDenise, please, just torture me--â
âDamn, if only you had a heart to stop torturing other people when they begged you to stop,â Corine muttered from where she had been standing, tossing her hair and glaring at Joe. âThen maybe none of us would be in this hellhole. Nobody wouldâve been.âÂ
Joeâs flash of hatred surged towards her. âNeither of us did anything to your sister!â
âYou knew! You covered it up! You condoned it!â
âNo--fine, our hideout is in Newmark! I swear on my life that it is--I swear on his life, itâs in the woods--â
âUseful information, but not quite coordinates, Mayor!â Denise said with amusement. âIâm sure you have those coordinates memorized. Carry on, Walter!â
Crack.Â
Would the security system in their hideout be enough of a warning for Christian, Julia, and Rozetta to hide or run? Christian would probably try to fight, but could the other two convince him otherwise?Â
He couldnât get all three of them thrown down here, or killed up there.Â
I canât get all of us killed, they need to be alive to save us!Â
Louis looked close to fainting, and as awful as it was, maybe he would pass out from the pain, and they would finally leave him alone, stop hurting him, turn Walter onto Joe instead. As odd as it was to wish for Louis to faint, he was too exhausted to scream anymore, if he just lost consciousness, not only would it be a relief from his pain, there wouldnât be any way to torture him anymore.
Unless they torture him to death--
No, they need him alive to get to me--
âDenise,â Walter said. âAt this point, he might lose consciousness if I break any more of his bones. We can have people scour Newmarkâs woods, or I can try to work on the mayor.â
âNo, Walter, I have one more idea,â Denise said, side-eyeing Joe with a smirk that immediately made his dread increase. âPull out those pliers for Leroux.â
Upon hearing her words, Louis gasped, his eyes suddenly wide.
Walter removed a pair of bloody-looking pliers from his suit and handed them over to Denise.
It was as if something had been switched in Louisâ brain upon seeing the pliers.
âNO!â he screamed, the volume making Joe jump with how loud, shrill, desperate it was. âNo, no, I canât do that again!â
Louisâ wild, terrified eyes locked onto Joe, Joe confused for a moment what the pliers were for, until his eyes fell onto Louisâ right hand, at his missing fingernails.
âWait, stop!â Joe said. âDonât--â
His voice was drained out by Louisâ desperate screaming and pleading. He was violently struggling against Walter, albeit without much success. Walter was sitting on the floor, essentially holding Louis in his lap, one of his arms pinning Louisâ right arm, the one with the missing fingernails, to his side and wrapping around his torso, his other hand holding Louisâ left wrist.Â
âYou do realize, Louis, that the more you struggle against this, the more likely it is that I wonât correctly rip out your fingernail and will have to do it again, correct?â Denise said, clearly thoroughly enjoying herself as she pushed Louisâ fingers save his thumb closed in one fist, her other hand holding the pliers.
âDenise!â Joe shouted over Louisâ wailing, the sound feeling like it was carving his heart out of his chest. âStop--itâs in the woods! Itâs a few miles from the dome!â
Denise ignored him as Corine approached Louis and his torturers, tying the blindfold that had been initially on Louis when he was brought into the cell, back around his eyes and holding his head still.Â
âNo--JOE!â Louis shrieked. âJOE! HELP! JOE!â
âAlright!â Joe exclaimed. âAlright, I'll tell you where it is!â The coordinates tumbled from his mouth, sobbing freely and openly now, crying for Louis and what theyâd done to him, how he was begging for him, and crying for Rozetta, Julia, and Christian, but he couldnât sit there in silence as Louis was begging for him, as Louis was forced to relieve a horrific torture that Joe couldnât imagine the pain of because Joe wasnât talking, because it was because of Louis that they even knew Denise had betrayed them, because heâs been the only one with the initiative to investigate.
âI knew you could be rational, Mayor,â Denise said mockingly as she released Louis and pocketed the pliers; Louis collapsed, sobbing, onto the ground as Corine and Walter also released him. âYou have such a peculiar care for each otherâŚâ
Joe wanted to rip through the ropes and rip out her own fingernails, break her own bones, beat her with his chair, do something, but all he was able to do was cry, the pain from his nose making sobbing painful, but at least theyâd released Louis, but what had he done to his other friends?
And yet, seeing Denise pocket the pliers had given him the closest heâd felt to relief since awakening in this hellhole. Would his friends understand? Christian wouldnât, he thought bitterly.Â
âShould we take Leroux with us?â Corine asked, gesturing to Louis. âNo need,â Denise said. âI have a feeling the mayor was being much more honest with that answer. Let Leroux and Warren stay together. If we need information from the mayor, we know exactly how to get it. No, let them wallow in their misery and think about how much they care about each other. The more they bond over their shared misfortune, the faster we can get information if we ever need it again.â
Several minutes after Denise and her torturers had left the cell, Louisâ sobs mellowed into sniffing.
Joe had let himself sob once he and Louis were alone, the crushing realization of how much heâd failed and what heâd done strangling him, and, despite how much his nose was hurting, heâd let sobs course through him. He kept thinking that he had just doomed his friends. But they were smart, surely they could figure something out? But heâd just guaranteed a legion of personnel to surprise attack them in the early hours of the morning. But they still had security in their hideout.Â
Rozetta might understand. He hoped Julia would. Christian wouldnât, Christian would be furious, and Joe, logically, could understand why, but even though heâd weakly called Louisâ name and received no acknowledgement from him several times, he couldnât, in good conscience, go back and let Louisâ nails be torn out in front of him while Louis cried for his help and screamed from the agony that had provided, reliving the pain that had already been inflicted on him days earlier. But the other three members of Ad Astra were their only hope of rescue now.
âJoe,â Louis said hoarsely.Â
Surprised, Joe looked up at Louis on the floor, having not expected him to comprehend that Joe was calling his name even after his crying had slightly lessened.
âJoe,â Louis repeated, dragging himself to Joeâs feet, making strangled noises of pain. âIâm sorry, I didnât mean to freak out like that, I thought IâdâŚâ His voice trailed off.
âDonât apologize, I shouldâve helped you before she kidnapped you,â Joe said, mentally kicking himself forâŚoverconfidence, he supposed. Him underestimating Denise and thinking they could easily outsmart her had led to this. âIâm sorry they did that to you. Iâm not angry that you told you about what you said to me.â He decided it was best not to tell Louis someone had been sent to kill Joe.Â
âWhat they didâŚJoe, they broke my wrists and ankles. Iâm never going to be able to walk, or write, or do anything, again!â Louisâ hyperventilating returned, gasping for air as he trembled violently, looking and sounding like he was about to start crying again.Â
âLouis!â Joe said, silently cursing Denise and her torturers out once more. If only he was free, he could at least hold his friend, letting Louis cry onto him as much as he needed, and give him more direct, physical comfort, but the ropes remained as secure as they had been when he had awoken. âLouis, itâs okay, the others will find us.â
âReally?â Louis said morosely.Â
âOf course. You know how brilliant Rozetta is. Sheâll come up with some great way to save us. She was already coming up with some sort of planâŚI just ruined it by going off on my own.â
âWhyâd you leave on your own?âÂ
âI didnât want to put the other three in danger, plus, LouisâŚcan you really see Christian pulling off some sort of stealth mission?â
Louis gave a wry, dry chuckle. âNot really. Heâd probably crash through all the nature around here and alert everyone to his presence.â
âExactly. But whether through keeping him away or somehow finding some way to keep him quiet and stealthy, Rozetta will figure something out.â
âBut you were telling the truth about where they were?â
â...Yeah. But you know our hideout has all sorts of security measures. You canât just walk into it without setting off a bunch of alarms. You know how seriously Rozetta takes security.â
âIâm sorry,â Louis said miserably, looking down at the floor. âI made you--â
âYou didnât make me do anything.â
âI shouldâve justâŚI didnât want to die alone here, I was hoping you would help me, but now weâre going to both die, and--and--â
âLouis!â Joe interrupted. âWeâre not going to die. Rozetta is a prodigy. Now that realizes her mother has betrayed her, she isnât going to hold anything back in fighting against her. Rozetta is ruthless and brilliant. There couldnât be a better person looking out for us.â
âBut if sheâŚif Denise catches her off-guard or somethingâŚâ
âThink of all of the security we have. All the ways to fortify ourselves in there, and escape if we need to.â
âBut whyâŚâ Louis had been looking at the ground, but he lifted his head to properly look at Joe. âWhyâd you even give them up? I was figuring thatâs why you were holding out for so long, because you didnât want to give them up, three of themâŚfor just me.â
And that was the question. Joe would consider himself Machiavellian, and saving three people over one, from a purely utilitarian standpoint, would make sense.Â
But he wasnât utilitarian.Â
How could you be, when your plans involved enslaving almost everyone in the world so you and your four other friends could rule over them, even though the sheeple were too stupid to properly govern themselves, and their natural state was being mindless drones, not needing to make any decisions for themselves.Â
But that was the thing. Joe had and loved his friends. Sure, he had mild fondness for some of his family, and his deputy mayor was smart and competent enough, but he didnât love them the way he loved his friends.
The way he especially loved Louis.
Rozetta didnât want them interacting publicly. They five of them still hung out casually and met to discuss their plans and schemes, but did so carefully, arriving at places sparingly, sometimes outside of Grimsborough if needed (although wearing casual clothing did go a long way in making one unrecognizable, although Rozettaâs blue hair was hard to forget, even if plenty of people didnât know her or recognize her), and places were scouted out in advance (and having Louis helped dodge reporters from CCN) but with LouisâŚJoe admitted they met in-person more frequently. Joe talked with Julia on the phone on occasion, but often messaged Louis, wanting to spend time with him, alone. Christian could beâŚunncessarily rude and aggressive at times, Rozetta could be overbearing at times, and although Julia was a perfectly lovely individual, sometimes Joe just wanted Louis. Louis was an excellent storyteller. His gossip and stories could entertain Joe for hours, watching movies together was quite entertaining as they bounced each othersâ comments off of each other.
But beyond that, Joe trusted Louis. How could he not? Louis had the least glamorous job of all five of them, as Christian liked to say to undermine Louis, but Louis knew all of their secrets and used his profession to direct attention from all of them and their schemes. He covered for them. Until the police got involved and Rozettaâs stupid employee that infiltrated that Higher Truth cult blabbed to the police, the entirety of Grimsborough didnât even know the meteorite was a meteorite. Louis was the connection, the bridge between DreamLife and the public, telling the public only what Rozetta wanted them to know, never questioning any information DreamLife released. It could seem paradoxical to trust a journalist more than anything else, but Louis knew what could and couldnât be shared. Joe trusted him with many of his own personal problems. Not as much as he wrote in his journal, but still, through time spent privately together.Â
âJoe?âÂ
Louis was looking up at him.
âBecause I care about you, Louis. I couldnât watch them--Youâre my best friend. I trust you, I--â
He stopped, choking up. Oh, man. He didnât know if he should put all of his emotions to words. If he even could. Given his career, he should be able to. But was crying even more worth it right now? Theyâd both cried enough. And if he was going to tell Louis all his complicated emotions, he didnât want to do it here, with him stuck in a chair and Louis with several broken bones.
âIâll tell you everything, go into as much detail as you want, after weâre rescued.â
Sorry if that was melodramatic or OOC lol, this was hard to write given what an intense situation it would be. But I hope I did passable enough, and I really do want to get back into more frequent fic writing, although I might not be able to have a good chunk of time to really sit down and write until Christmas break, unfortunately.
