“Step away from the speakers, Mirae has sent me a new playlist.” she grunted as Donghae fiddled with the new sound system he had purchased after damaging the previous one. Technology was never safe in his hands and she wondered why he kept investing in more and more expensive things and ended up breaking them. This time though, the rules had been set, the speakers were hers and the only thing he was allowed to do was hit the play button.

Clearly he was already breaking the rules and she rolled her eyes.

“I’ve already set it up, just hit play Hae.”

“Mirae always sends some sad stuff, I don’t wanna listen!” Donghae whined, making her narrow her eyes at him.

“You’re the melancholic one in the relationship, so shut up and hit play and come sit your ass here, it’s cold.”

“You just get cold even at the slightest sign of rain.” he grumbled, walking over to her and throwing himself next to her on the couch, curling his arm around her. Her body shifted to fit just right to not put his arm to sleep, he peered into the screen of her mobile phone “Who is Lana Del Ray and why are you googling her?”

“Most of the playlist has her songs, so I thought I’d take a look…you didn’t press play, you dick.” she glared before calling to the device to start playing the playlist. Donghae turned to her, displeased only to have her shrugging in response and mumbling “voice activated.”

“Oh oh, play Cola, it sounds like it would be like Red Flavour.” Donghae added in, still peering at the list on her phone screen.

“Device does not recognize Oh Oh play Cola.” a robotic voice responded back causing her to double over with laughter as he nudged her, asking her to knock it off. She choked out.

“Play Cola.”

She curled into him again, stealing warmth from him as the song began to play, she could feel him pulling gently at the curls of her hair, watching them spring back into shape with amusement. She had repeatedly told him that it would damage the curl pattern, but it didn’t matter because he did it anyway and she let him do it because...now things didn’t feel normal if he didn’t do it. Not that she’d mention that to him.

“The music isn’t bad, need to congratulate Mirae on her decent choice.” he said, noticing the silence on her part. She was probably thinking of her lesson plans for the next week, or else she would have chewed his head off about fiddling with her hair.

“Pause song!” she yelled at the device as her hand reached up to soothe the hurt spot on his face. Donghae’s eyes narrowed at her face which was somewhere between amused and baffled.

“WHAT?!” he grumbled as she grinned at him, still rubbing the spot on his chin.

“Did you hear the lyrics?”

“Wasn’t really paying attention…” he mumbled.

“I would beg to differ.” Donghae crossed his arms.

“What the fuck.” she deadpanned, wondering where this man was taking this conversation.

“Your pussy does not taste like pepsi cola, that would be really weird and we’ll need to take you to the doctor.” he stated wisely, which simply made her chuckle. Of course he wasn’t paying attention to the lyrics, neither was his head entirely in the context. She knocked on the top of his head.

“I’m glad to hear that my vagina does not taste like a fizzy drink. If it did, I would be at a gynaecologist, not riding your face. I will definitely give your advice to Lana Del Ray and her pepsi vagina.”

“Oh, those were her lyrics? Here I was thinking that you were saying that when you really don’t taste like that.” Donghae smiled sheepishly.

“Oh?” she raised her eyebrow at him.

“I should know, I’m an expert. You’re just salty.”

“Touche.” he said, tugging her back into his arms as she rested against his chest “Play.” he said as he wrapped his arms around her. The rain got heavier making her curl closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder. The music played in the background as he smirked at her causing her to raise her eyebrow yet again at him.

“Yes?”

“I could taste again to confirm.”
