CLEARLY Kate Kane, my OTP for her! Also Cat Grant, my first ship for her, I will always hold great love for them and I miss them! And Sara Lance, because that Crisis event somehow really sold me on a “what’s a gay gal gonna do up in space with nothing to do but two other gals who like gals?”. Currently reading the New 52 and that run is REALLY making me like Kara/Siobhan Smythe, which I kind of didn’t see coming.

My last poll wasn’t organized as well as it should have been. I got lazy and condensed way too many possibilities into the “Other” option. I know the primary reason why people voted that way but it still felt too chaotic. I tried to be more thorough this time around but I’m still sorry to the rarepairs I couldn’t include in a 12-answer max poll. I saw a handful of people mention some poly ships but unfortunately, I couldn’t include them either for the same reason. Similarly, I also eliminated the “show me the results” option. You want to see the results, you gotta vote lol.

#4: I’m flirting with you  (a little bit of RedK!Kara here)

“What’s gotten into you today, Kiera?  You’re, like, human.  And a little bit hot.”

Kara rolled her eyes.  “See something you like, Shivvy?  Or are you just trying to get invited to the club?”  

Siobhan stood up and sauntered to the front of her desk.  She leaned against it and crossed her arms.  “What makes you think I need a ticket for that show?  I might know the DJ, or the bartender, or the owner.  You wouldn’t even know the barbacks at a club like that.  You’ll stick out like a sore thumb.  Just because you were able to pull one halfway decent outfit out of the dumpster fire you call a wardrobe, doesn’t mean you fit in, Kiera.”

Kara tilted her head, capped her highlighter and took her time crossing the bullpen to stand in front of Siobhan.  On a typical day, Siobhan’s killer heels put them at equal heights.  In today’s five inch sandals, Kara towered over Siobhan and looked down at her with a predatory grin.  

“You mean, Kara, don’t you Siobhan?  I’m sure I heard you say… Kara.”

For the first time in her life, Siobhan Smythe had the grace to look just a little bit frightened.  She wasn’t sure where this Kara had come from, but there was something about it she liked.  She was powerful and strong, intimidating… present.  And, god help her, she did want a ticket to that club, with this girl, in a dress that hugged her like that.

To cover her discomfort and the heat flooding her body, she laughed it off.  “Relax, Danvers.  I’m flirting with you.”

Kara’s eyes narrowed.  “You’re a terrible flirt.  Good flirts always remember names.  Better flirts say those names with relish, right Siobhan?”  The way the name tumbled off her tongue sent shockwaves through Siobhan’s extremeties and she longed to reach out to the body that was so close to her own.

Kara leaned in further.  They weren’t touching, but Siobhan could feel Kara’s presence like a caress and her breath ghosted her ear.  “But the really good flirts… the really good flirts use the name.  They make a name into a touch.  Isn’t that right… Siobhan?”

Her knees buckled.  Her eyes slipped shut and her breath left her in a hot breeze against Kara’s exposed neck.  Her hands gripped the front of her desk, the only thing keeping her from melting into the floor.

When she opened her eyes, Kara and her formidable presence was gone, back across the room and putting those coveted tickets back into their envelope.
