August is a busy month in the Good Omens fandom! With prompts, creative challenges, collaborations, meetups, and TIC, there's plenty happening this month.

August 2026

⏰•Monsters and Myths Collaboration— Sign-up Deadline 4th August 2026 An 18+ collaborative event for writers, artists, and betas celebrating mythology, folklore, cryptids, and legendary creatures through the world of Good Omens. Participants will be paired to create monstrous and myth-inspired fanworks, with posting beginning 1st October 2026.

•Rare Omens Each week prompts you to create for different Good Omens canon and feature rare characters/pairs in your fan art and fanfic! August 2 - 8: TV Omens finale August 9 - 15: TV Omens series 2 August 16 - 22: TV Omens series 1 August 23 - 29: Book Omens

•Summer of Ineffable Pride Bingo— Posting runs June to 1st September 2026 A low-pressure Pride-inspired Good Omens challenge for writers and artists, encouraging seasonal queer-themed fanworks. This event is designed to be flexible and welcoming, allowing participants to join in whenever they like. See link for details

•The Ineffable Rewrite Challenge—A GOAD challenge encouraging fans to reimagine the finale. Stories should include the events of S1 and S2, Jesus, pizza, and the Book of Life. Beyond those elements, participants are free to take the story in any direction, length, rating, or style. See link for details.

•Book of Life: Missing Pages—An S3 creative collection inviting writers to fill in the gaps, explore missing scenes, alternate possibilities, and fix-its. AU, canon, and non-canon stories welcome. Open through December 2026. See link for details.

•Alternative Good Omens Finale Project— A fan-led animation project imagining an alternative ending is seeking artists, writers, and other contributors. See link for information and sign-up form.

September 2026

•Crowchella— 1st September 2026 A celebration of everyone's favorite demon, Crowley! Create art, edits, fics, and other fanworks inspired by Crowley and share them with the #crowchella tag.

•Good Omens Got True Talents Show 2026–Submission Deadline 27th September 2026 Submissions are open in a variety of categories, including Musical Performance, Non-Musical Performance, Arts and Crafts, Memes and Comics, Cosplay. The showcase video will premiere on 9th October 2026 through Sendarya: Exploring Visual Media Through Analysis

Ongoing/No Fixed Date

•Good Omens Britpicking Library—A developing community project intended to become a resource for British cultural guidance in Good Omens fanworks. The blog is currently open for questions and updates while the full resource is still being prepared.

•Bildadzine 2—Bildad-themed zine volume 2 is in the very earliest stages of development. Watch for upcoming announcements and participation details.

August 2026

•Word Scramble Challenge 2026—A multi-fandom challenge where word scrambles become inspiration for fanworks and original creators. Fourteen scrambles will be posted throughout August; use the words you find as a starting point for fic, art, or any other creative work. See link for details.

•AU-gust 2026 (The Prompt Foundry)—A multi-fandom prompt event celebrating alternate universe stories. Explore new settings, scenarios, and possibilities through daily prompts. Reimagine favorite characters in new worlds and settings through writing, art, or other creative works.

•AU-gust 2026 (AO3/BlueSky Challenge)—A 31-day multi-fandom Alternate Universe August challenge featuring daily AU-themed prompts. Participants can create fanworks or original works and join through AO3, BlueSky, Discord or tags #au gust and #au gust 2026

•Augustrope 2026—A multi-fandom 30-day writing challenge featuring trope-based prompts. Writers can use the prompts for fanworks or original fiction and participate as much or as little as they like.

September 2026

•Sapphic September 2026—a multi-fandom event celebrating sapphic and femslash ships. Participants can use as many or as few prompts as they like and share works using #sapphicsep2026. See link for details

October 2026

•Ineffable Kinktober 2026— The 2026 prompt list is here! A Good Omens Kinktober event inviting creators to explore the monthly prompts and share their fanworks. See link for details and guidelines.

•Flufftober 2026—A multi-fandom prompt event celebrating fluffy fanworks throughout October. Create art, fic, or other works inspired by fluff-themed prompts. See link for prompts and participation details.

November 2026

•No One Nuts November— A November prompt challenge exploring awkward, unsuccessful, or unexpected intimate scenarios. Participants can use the prompt list whenever they like and share works with the #NoOneNutsNovember tag. See link for details.

August 2026

•Good Omens Tour of London—19th August 2026 A wheelchair-accessible walking tour of Good Omens London filming locations in the run up to TIC7. You don’t need to be attending the convention to join the tour. 

•The Small Back Room— 21st - 23rd August 2026 A fan-organized weekend at Alton House Hotel, Alton, Hampshire, UK where attendees can gather to stream The Ineffable Con 7 together. Tickets are available for full weekend or single day attendance. Cosplay is welcome! For more information, contact @lintilla72

•The Ineffable Con 2026 21st - 23rd August 2026 Cookam, UK (but also virtual attendance options available).

October 2026

•The Ineffable Society Meetup 2026 24th October 2026 Philadelphia, USA. This looks like a great opportunity to meet fellow fans in person.

Upon finding a grand total of zero (zero!) Good Omens pride-related events on Tumblr this year, I took it upon myself to make a casual challenge for any writer or artist who wishes to make pride-related Good Omens fanwork. We could definitely do with a bit of pride this year!

Running for the rest of June until 1st September, this is a relaxed queer event that you can dip your toes in and out of.
