hi tumblr me and @stringalink-the-13th-shoelace want to introduce you to Suitswap!!!!!! our attempt at a 13 cards swap au!!!!! where suits swap with each other!!!!! woah!!!!! a lot of these arts are the initial concepts we'll make something refined later but i REALLY wanted to finally show what we've been cooking for months
The hearts swap with the spades, and the clubs swap with the diamonds. We didn't want to just make them basically the same characters with a new coat of paint so we just kind of twisted the cores of the character to be at a different angle for the new suit. So we have:
Redd (Joker): college student that summoned the clones to do his chores and assignments. does not respect them. a smug prick with issues?
Theodore (Gabriel:) paranoid conspiracist. EVERYTHING is a conspiracy. the earth is flat
Kurosuke (Kuromaku): lazy know-it-all who doesn't feel the need to do anything because he already knows everything, apparently. keeps to himself and reads
Aris (Dante): very professor-like. only speaks in topic explanations that probably come from wikipedia
Philip (Felix): prep boy golden boy who is obsessed with winning and being on top. competitive. has to be adored
Wally (Waru): people pleaser! will say whatever he has to to make sure the others can like him. often a punching bag. his pleasing isn't all genuine
Sol (Brolly): at peace hippie. he's got it all figured out. chill
Richie (Romeo): materialist money schemer. his only love is money
Heart (Spade): hero! protector! wants to protect everyone he loves! if he's not keeping others safe, what's the point. his creator's biggest supporter
"Jester" (Fedor): actually called Joker but they kept calling him Jester instead and he's lost control of that situation. an apathetic card entity that doesn't really care anymore, he's bored and tired. kind of just wants to make stuff for himself now
