It could be why Joker is outside of the card world, it could very well be Waru hallucinating Joker.

I saw this theory and I've really been wondering if that could be the case. Though it doesn't come without its questions

I think it was definitely implied that the person Felix was punching is Waru. I mean. Who else would it be. and it was confirmed by Vanya or Fedor that Felix and Waru would have a "moment" together this season. The way that scene is framed definitely looks like he could be punching him directly in the face and that COULD break his glasses. I just don't know if they'd actually have that as a plotpoint??? Since the glasses are so iconic to Waru's character? Not that I'm against it, I'm just trying to figure out if the people behind the show would actually go that route

Joker is definitely talking to Waru, there's no doubt about that. I'm wondering if we're gonna start the season off with seeing Joker and Waru considering the episode is called "Waru's Day"

I thought Joker was the one saying things most of the time, I don't recall hearing Kuromaku, but either way VERY INTERESTING COMMENT LIKE WHAT THEY CAN'T JUST CASUALLY MENTION THAT

It's sooooo interesting. Like they have some of his memories, of course they do they're his clones, but they're scattered across each of the cards. The trailer specifically points out that this is a personality split into 8 other guys, they're undoubtedly pieces of Fëdor. I do wonder what decides what memories they have, if it's like you said and it has to do with their personality, could that be why Spade is the only one who knows how to use a knife?

real talk tho (more thoughts here) IT LOOKS REALLY FUN. THERE'S SO MUCH GOING ON IT LOOKS LIKE AND I WANT TO SEE ALL THE CONTEXT I WANT IT NOWW.... i'm really happy the direction they're going with season 2 is outside the apartment so we can explore things with the characters a little more while also getting more fascinating settings. i think the concepts we're seeing glimpses of are gonna be soooo fun

a lot of the animation and shots just look even more expressive and smoother. improvement!

Thank you guys for enjoying our girl!! And for enjoying my art! Because Fran came along pretty early into my interest, I've been here for a year!! She kinda represents the milestone here, I guess.

I've had a blast drawing 13 Cards. I haven't drawn or talked about a piece of media this much for awhile. It's been refreshing. I'm really excited for season 2. It's nice being into an ongoing series for once and getting to be there as it updates. I've learned a LOT being into this show and Phoenix Animation in general and it's given me a lot of new perspectives. I'm kind of in the midst of some misery right now but I know I've got this stupid show to look forward to.

happy The Deck AU weekend i had it on my mind and i also had fran on my mind. The Deck AU + Fran 2 electric boogaloo. i always feel nervous about self indulgently doodling and wondering about how a character of mine would fit into someone else's AU but hopefully it's ok

i've talked about it before briefly i think it's fascinating. things go so much more difficult in this universe but that kinda makes it all the more impactful when they end up going well doesn't it

I imagine here her learning about the clones is a lot more stressful. Debatable whether or not Romeo is still the final straw but it's possible. When she learns it's like. this is a lot to take in. she's mad she's confused she's awkward she just has to walk out. poor Fedor probably as usual thinks he messed up the one normal relationship he might have had because of this choice he made, which he feels is just on him. thinks he should have expected it

i think she comes back in like two days though. because thinking about it rationally and calming down she's like oh god this guy is probably going through some shit trying to manage all this. also i like the guy i should at least talk to him. and like. clearly Fedor did not intend for this. and also this is weird and kind of intriguing.

i think there's a lot of interesting scenarios to be had here. imagining the different ways she might have accidentally encountered the clones and how it would have put a strain on her and Fedor's first stage of friendship. like seriously it would be so bad. because like zeesha kinda said before it would make Fedor look like a lunatic LMAO but eventually she'll be informed and she'll start to get it and she puts effort into understanding. because who else will. and now they keep showing up at her apartment
