Overall thoughts on season 2's first episode
It's a REALLY strong opener to the season honestly, the vibe of this season is really fun and visually things have really improved since last season. I adore the new intro (the Joker face replacing the fortune tellers makes me? Scared?)
I missed these guys so much and seeing them in a new scenario interacting has reignited some inspiration in me
I'm really excited to see what they do with the new concepts of what the clones are up to, I think they're setting some really interesting stuff up with Felix, and I'm really really really excited to see what they do with Joker. I've seen some people unhappy about his inclusion and some mention how this is supposed to be a lighthearted show but like. Idk man you don't want Any drama? Any light drama? It's not like Jokers doing anything crazy or edgy, yeah he helped Waru do some shitty pranks but it's still treated with humor LOL They can get a good balance between lighthearted and drama. Why NOT include Joker he hasn't appeared in anything for a decade. If they just had him in Joker Presents and nothing else that'd be weird. And him being set up in episode 1 of season 2 yeah maybe that's surprisingly early but I think they're trying to set something specific up and I want to see where they take it. I think we just need to be patient and have some faith
Something is wrong with Waru and I need to dissect him. Clearly he enjoyed what they did but at the same time he's uncomfortable. Joker in general makes him uncomfortable. To this I say Yay. I want to see how they flesh him out

Felix makes me crazy how he actually tried to defend Waru and give him the benefit of the doubt. He wanted to believe he could change!! Even if he's had so many incidents with Waru!! The fact he wants to believe in him proves he WANTS a friendship there!! But of course Waru spits on that. And he directly calls Felix out and says he probably thought Waru was still a scumbag this whole time. And it's possible he did but kept defending him because. Someone has to
