Subbed vs Dubbed anime, one of the biggest arguments many watchers face.
I do prefer subbed anime, mainly because it gives more of the experience. I mean, the voices usually fit better in the Japanese voices rather than the American voices. However, dubs are easier because you don’t have to read subtitles the whole time.
Dubs by Funimation usually aren’t bad, but sometimes they mess up the voices, like in Future Diary. Another bad thing is that they sometimes have voice actors whose voices sound too old to fit the character.
Some animes like Fruit’s Basket and Highschool of the Dead have a better dub then sub, but that’s not usually common. And in some animes, both sub and dub are good like in Angel Beats and Kanon.
So in my opinion, if you want more of the anime experience and usually better sounding voices, then watch subtitled anime. But if you want easier and more of an american experience, then watch dubbed anime.
