Anime forever

In my opinion, R-rated movies and TV shows (M rated) say that if you are under 17, you need a parent to watch it in theaters. Some R-rated movies are rated that due to language. Your teenager hears explicit language in music, movies, school, etc. and they most likely cuss around their friends.To me, I say it’s okay for them to watch it.

Subbed vs Dubbed anime, one of the biggest arguments many watchers face. 

I do prefer subbed anime, mainly because it gives more of the experience. I mean, the voices usually fit better in the Japanese voices rather than the American voices. However, dubs are easier because you don’t have to read subtitles the whole time.

Dubs by Funimation usually aren’t bad, but sometimes they mess up the voices, like in Future Diary. Another bad thing is that they sometimes have voice actors whose voices sound too old  to fit the character.

Some animes like Fruit’s Basket and Highschool of the Dead have a better dub then sub, but that’s not usually common. And in some animes, both sub and dub are good like in Angel Beats and Kanon.

Tokyo Ghoul, overall, was an amazing anime. Although season 1 is only 12 episodes, it does go fast. The plot is very interesting, with drama and action is almost every episode. The plot is basically about ghouls are in Tokyo that feed on people, and this college student, Kaneki, goes on a date with a girl who is a “binge eating” ghoul. It does get sort of confusing at some times, but it was as easy as a 30-second google search to find out what happened. Athough Kaneki sometimes got annoying in some episodes,but he turned out awesome towards the end of the first season. The rest of the characters had interesting personalities, but I liked them all. How did you guys like the characters?

Sub OR dub is a question always asked, and I would 100% say the sub was excellent. I haven’t heard the dub, but by what other people say, it sounds like it wasn’t that good. Touka’s voice was on point, and so were most of the characters in the sub/Japanese. The art/animation was amazing, and I was very impressed by it, and it’s one of the best I’ve seen. The opening for Season 1 is my favorite opening of any anime I’ve seen so far, and everyone I’ve met who’s seen it agrees.

Season 2 (Tokyo Ghoul: Root A) is even better than the first season (in some ways)! I can’t really tell you what does happen sometimes, but it does have some depressing parts. The opening, however, was boring in my opinion. It had a soft rock type tone, while OP 1 has a more guitar rock type tone, but it wasn’t bad. The ending to Root A is bittersweet, but it was devastating and ended in a sort-of cliffhanger.
