Oh cool! The Fall fits the creepy but not horror slot pretty well. Another one I thought of (this might just be my nostalgia talking But) is Superbrothers Sword and Sworcery, which while not truly retro, has beautiful pixel graphics, and tells a story which in itself is not particulary unique, but presented in a rather different way. And finally as a complete outlier there is the Kentucky Route Zero series, which is more an interactive play than a game really, but has a load of sad + thought! :D
Ahhhh Superbrothers SOUNDS really nice, this music is prettyyyy. I’ll keep it in mind, hmm~
And ahhh, KRZ looks very interesting... I’ll hold onto that too.
